It isn't. Thank you microsoft for saving my money.
Its also amazing that they excluded two whole continents.

Maybe Microsoft wants to lose sales? Can Sega come back now please and make a system?

Turkey is not on the list.Well, I was gonna buy PS4 anyway ...

You can say anything about Microsoft, but at least they remember that Brazil exists, not like Nintendo and theirs not officially-realeased yet WiiU...
Srry my awful english ;)

Well, they did partner with the "Worst company of 2 consecutive years", EA... Never eat the EA brownies!

Nope. Not that I was expecting it, the Faroe Islands are barely known to half of the internet.

Its ok, I always eagerly anticipate your national team's football scores because the numbers are so high!

Every move they make is another step to grave. Seriously. Poland is not on the list, I did expect that though. It's not like people here would buy it anyway, you can't play used games. It's almost sure X1 will fail here.
Looks like they don't care about Japan too. I would just take MGS5 and Witcher 3 from them since they don't care about the countries these games come from. That would teach them.
By the way, I think it violates the rights of the European Union, not really sure though.

Microsoft's damage control was to say that the Xbox 360 was an option.

Microsoft really needs to stop taking tips from Sega and Atari on how to screw up gaming systems.

Must be strictly for the Xbox One so I think we will. If not, it is possible to migrate an account every 3 months to another country.

Yeah, not like i give a damn about microsoft anymore. Portugal isn't part of the list anymore aswell.
This pretty much points out at me buying steam games rather than a new system, i don't have plans on buying ps4 either, RIP console gaming, most likely to be the last gen for me and many others.
It's also times like this i wish sega was still around making innovations, dreamcast was kickass when it showed up. Would be even more kickass to make a sequel to that system, call in a few old titles and turn them exclusive again, like shenmue and jet set radio.

Holy Shit, not on Israel, what a way to get more money Microsoft, that's just genius.

I don't understand why people even buy consoles anymore

My rig didn't get that memo. (closer to $700, but I see your point) Another thing to note, gaming on PC is cheaper than console. So people should wake up and realize that while sometimes it may suck to wait a month for that hot new game, its gonna be on sale for PC and it's STILL gonna be $60 on a console. Take that over the course of a console's life time and now you have way more games and even money to upgrade your gaming setup.

Well, found few pages that might show some numbers. Wii costs $24. while consoles ten times more, while PC can cost from $5 to over $600.
So, while I was wrong with 4 times more (guess that Wii costs really affected my memory, making consoles look much better), it CAN be higher.
And paying $400 now and then paying more is still considered "lower cost" than paying $700 now and paying less later. Most people just prefer to pay less in front.

Yeah, i also don't understand why people think that PC gaming is expensive, when it is actually cheaper than consoles. I can find you a mid range PC for $400, you just need to know where to look. Plus, the amount of money you save by not paying a monthly internet subscription, and the MASSIVE amount you save on games, makes up for any higher amount you pay for a higher end PC.

I was about to say this. If the XboxOne equivalent was built as a PC it would cost rougly $400-$450 (in America, about £450 in the UK, still cheaper than Xbox). Double that would build a beast of a gaming computer, not an entry-level one, as is the XboxOne.

That doesn't make much sense. Everyone needs a PC anyway, for its non-gaming uses, and buying a low-grade PC and a console costs more than buying a gaming PC. Also, gaming PCs don't cost more than $600-$700. And that would get you something way more powerful than a console.
Also, I'd like to know if you have any data on consoles being used in developing countries. In my knowledge, the vast majority of consoles are purchased in North America, Western Europe and Japan. In developing countries, they're mostly toys for rich kids.

Epic comment from NeoGAF:
"So, in Poland you can MAKE The Witcher 3, for XBOne... you just can't play it. ;-)"
Brilliant, I have to say.

Question is, How can Witcher 3 for the Xbone be tested when the console they need to test it on doesn't work ?
