No this is all free content, its just automatically adding the licenses to your account rather than doing it manually for thousands of individial items

Has the SteamDB scrip actually been working for you?

It's been running fine but hasn't actually added any licenses to my account for two/three weeks now when I know there's items it should have added.

firstly, this is the steamdb script, secondly, i ran the script 4 times, then it worked for me

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

As described on their scripts:

Large Version - Edited version of https://steamdb.info/freepackages/

Small Version - Edited version of https://steamdb.info/freepackages/

If you need run a script 4 times to work, then is not well coded. Or find the error.

https://steamdb.info/freepackages/ changed so I can't tell you if is the same. If it is, then someone is taking credit.

it says steamdb near the end of the script, so, yeah....
Although, now that i have opened the steamdb one, it looks completely different, maybe this was a regect?

am i doing something wrong? i executed, it went all the way to 644 but in licenses added only like 5 or 6 new items

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

644 is just the total count of items it's checked, not the count of licenses added.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

ok, but ain't 5 bit too low for this? i own a lot of games, i expected bit more dlcs

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

A lot of the licenses it could potentially add you may of already had.

According to your profile you have 3894 games and 928 DLC. I have 4827 and 1633 so it looks like you're at least roughly in the right ballpark.

In most cases you can't add a DLC without owning the game first.

In firefox you need to press CTRL+Shift+K
then try to paste, it might ask you for "allow pasting" (delete allow pasting)
then paste again and enter

it doesn't have a dialog box or anything.. just refresh your profile page and check how many dlc you own afterwards compared to before. -- or refresh the license page and see how many were added today.
