Hi everyone, when I make giveaways for some groups I keep on seeing groups like these:
https://www.steamgifts.com/group/UQTSC/fatkids , https://www.steamgifts.com/group/5aVQg/masterandservant
which actually on steam have been deleted for weeks or months ( http://steamcommunity.com/groups/fatkids , http://steamcommunity.com/groups/master_and_servant)

But still they appear in the list.. even if on Steam they've been removed and they aren't even counted anymore in my groups number (for instance, now on Steam I'm in 54 groups while on SteamGifts, clicking on account->profile, it says that I'm in 57 groups) I see them every time I want to choose from some of my 54 groups in order to make whitelisted/steam groups giveaways.

How can they be removed or reported for deletion?

Why remove them? It's in the archives.
[Edit] Oh, I understand how that could be troublesome when making giveaways. I agree that there should be a way to hide/remove them.

yeah, it's just 'cos i've got already more than 50 groups and they all matter to me, but I don't want to make giveaways for all of them (since half of them aren't even giveaway-related) so let alone for groups that don't even exist anymore on Steam xD

I usually make giveaways for less than 7-8 groups judging by the target, value and other things related to the game I'm giving away so I'm happy you agree with me :) There should be some way to hide or remove them, since every time I go through the list I see groups deleted (on Steam, don't know if by Valve or if by the founders) months ago still "available" somehow to be "elected" for giveaways..

Go to this page, open the development tools of your browser (and then the Console).

Enter the following commands and hit enter:

leaveGroupPrompt('103582791429574385','Fat kids are harder to kidnap')

and

leaveGroupPrompt('103582791457841810','Master and Servant')

Those numbers are the group ids (if you encounter this problem again: go to the steamgifts page and rightclick the "Visit Steam Group" button and copy the link, the id is in the link)

you saved my life :) thank you a lot! i don't know much of computer technology and similar issues, so I really didn't know anything about these strings before.. now everything's perfect! Done through Chrome in a minute (and I had never opened before that console xD)
I couldn't thank you more, it asked right away to leave those groups even if they aren't listed on the Steam page anymore.. I'll never have this problem again, thanks!!
