Mortal Kombat 10?

Hello Steamgifters! Big news! A new entry to the Mortal Kombat series is on its way! But is it Mk 10? On Ed Boon's twitter (creator of the MK series) he posted a math problem. The next day, he posted something else. The first answer was 29. The second was 28. Yesterday, he posted a picture of a car, and on the back of the car it said MKX, which could mean Mortal Kombat 10, or some speculate it could mean a crossover. 15 days later from his first number (29), which is today, he posted a tweet with the numbers 13 in it. This is definitly a count down of some sort. It leads to June 2nd. Mark it on your calenders!\

tl;dr: New MK! June 2nd will hypothetically be its announce date. Will it be MK 10 or a crossover?

I think its more likely to be a cross over unless they have something major planned for MK10.

Well, not spoiling anything, but the end of MK9 DEFINITELY set up a story plot.

Does it matter? unlike normal/other fighting game franchises, MK8 is a crossover (which is why the reboot is 9), whereas normally it would not be numbered. Technically though, unlike games like SF or KOF, the MK series has no numbers after 4. So it could mean either "10" ofc with the scheme they use, whatever it is will be called 10 informally, and/or be a "crossover".

Not sure if it is a reboot, seeing how stuff that happened in earlier game are in intro of new game :P

Well the car actually says "MK X AWD"

If it were a crossover, what could AWD stand for?
