So sorry to hear this. I lost a good friend to kidney cancer at age 30. He was diagnosed at 25, told he had five years, and it was almost five years to the day. 5 kids (3 biological, 2 adopted)...spent his remaining years just trying to build enough wealth, pay off the house, etc., to make sure that his family would be cared for when he was gone.
I get where you are mentally and emotionally right now. Hang in there and focus on the good memories of when your friend was here.

Thanks. I'm sorry to hear about your friend, too. He sounds like a good guy.

Whoa! Top Fundraiser (gather funds from others) in the world for EAD 2017? That is pretty impressive

Specifically for CERN, I'm not sure about beyond that. He helped raise something like $12,000 for it.

Yesterday was Ependymoma Awareness Day 2018, and I'm a bit late to post this, but I think it's still important.
Two months ago, my best friend passed away after a 5 year long fight with brain cancer. Words can't describe how he impacted my life or how much I miss him. But I'm not posting to trouble you with my sorrow; I want to continue his mission to spread awareness and make a difference for those who are affected in the future. (He was the top fundraiser for Ependymoma Awareness Day 2017, after all.)
As such, if you'd like to learn more about this type of tumor, I encourage you to check out the CERN Foundation's education page.
And, as promised, here is my first giveaway train (ended May 12th).
