i'm just desperately waiting for the ff7 remake to get a pc release. even if it's an epic exclusive, that's a definite pre-order for me.

yeah, your post made me check for updates and this was just posted today. kinda had a bad feeling it would be an egs exclusive (because kingdom hearts). i just really don't feel like waiting around another year or so to play it. i've been playing final fantasy since the first one on nintendo, and 7 was easily one of my favorites. it's gonna be one of those rare full-price day-one buys for me.

at the end of the intergrade trailer it says "available on ps5 at least six months earlier than any other format". maybe that gives us a timeframe of mid-december to give us a 'complete' version? half a year seems like yet another forever to wait though. 😞
it's weird because afaik 'intergrade' is just what they're calling the ps5 upgrade, i don't think it directly comes bundled with the yuffie dlc (called intermission). but when the game originally came out on ps4, it had a one-year exclusivity, which is well passed by this point. it wouldn't make any sense to give pc players a dumbed-down 'ps4 version' i.e. non-intergrade. i really don't fucking know. kinda wish they'd just tell us what's going on, ya know?

I'm more looking forward to the Pixel Remaster 1-6. Hope SE does not mess it up too badly, given their track record with ports it's possible.

i didn't even know that was going to be a thing. i know ff3 already got a 3d version on (i think?) nintendo ds, then ported to pc. and there was also those anthology ones they put out on ps1, but could hardly even be called remasters. what are the new ones supposed to be like?
if i could choose another final fantasy game to get a full remake it would easily be ff6. the music, art style, story, characters, suplexing a train.. just everything. it was so damn good. giving that game the same treatment that ff7 remake received would bring a tear to my eye.

huh.. steam and mobile.. didn't see that coming. i wonder when 'soon' will be? really curious about the price too. a six-game final fantasy package makes me think they'd slap a $40-50 price tag on it, but $50 for a mobile game seems.. unlikely. i don't know. pretty stoked about seeing an official 2d english version of ff3 though.
