Maybe you have put a limit on the total of internet transactions on your card and this purchase exceeds it ? That'd stop the order from being procesed.
I know it's not exactly this, but maybe something similar ? Too many purcheses or some other thing that might have triggered an antifroud protection ?

Anyone else ever got this error before?
I have no idea why I'm getting it now, I haven't bought much stuff in that short a time span to raise a red flag.
