AMD R9 280X or HD7950?

In your opinion. What would be better.. both for price, performance, and future-proofing..?

280x is a rebrand of 7970, so it's better than 7950

I have a 7950 (paid 180€) and is very very good

280x. You'll most likely get a little bit more oomph out of it, and I'm pretty sure it runs cooler than the 7970.

The 280x is what I would go for, its around the same as what was mentioned just that it will be supported a little longer.

R9 280X obviously, I have my self the 7950, but R9 series are newer and better, and 280X is 7970 rebrand as was said above.

280X = 7970 > 7950.

The 280X would be better for that.
