I see no Kirby games there. What is wrong with you?

I was bidding on an Epic Yarn a few weeks ago, but I quickly dropped out when I realized that people were willing to pay a lot for that title. So my best hope for that one is to find a cheap copy in a thrift store or in a collection of games that people overlook.

Shame you didn't get Twilight Princess with Crossbow training though. I'd also recommend the Rock Band ones (I played the crap out of The Beatles one) if you're into that kind of thing.

Didn't Suda51 have something on the Wii besides No More Heroes 1 & 2?

I found a lot of charm in Disney's Guilty Party, either single player or multiplayer. A comedic puzzle game all to figure out a murder mystery.
Dead Space Extraction is a very solid rail shooter and it's story works quite well if you are into the lore of the overall Dead Space franchise, serving as a prequel to the first game.
Little King's Story , a strategy game where you collect and order about people of your kingdom to fight similar to Pikmin. Quite charming and funny, with more death than most expected out of it.
Metal Slug Anthology. Though it's been released on other systems, the sheer number of control options does make it stand out.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. Note this is not a port of the PC/Xbox 360/PS3, rather it's somewhere between the Sands of Time trilogy and Prince of Persia 2008.
Red Steel 2, unlike the first game, is actually a decent title with Wii Motion Plus and fun can be had if you don't hate motion controls.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles , another good rail gun shooter going through the stories of RE0-3 timeline.
Wario Land Shake It! may not be the best Wario Land game, it's a fun and good looking platformer that continues on from where 4 did on GBA, just in better graphics.
If you can use homebrew to play games from other regions, Zangeki no Reginleiv is a lot of good fun as well in a Earth Defense Force type of way. Killing giant enemiesin a somewhat campy way, lots of blood at types of attack.

I'm mainly a PC guy as well, but a console is a bit more convenient for couch MP, in particular if you want to bring it with you somewhere (the Wii is relatively small and easy to carry). And as I already have a system, I might as well get some good games for it.

Sorry, I can't really talk about Wii games because I've only played like 2, but at least it was somewhat special. I remember that I used to go to a girl's place (That's as far as I've got ;-;) and played some Wii games with her. We mainly played Speed Racer. I don't know if the game was that great, but at least it was interesting to talk to a girl. Sadly she's a sport maniac and hates PC gaming. But to the point...if You want to have some fun and play splitscreen multiplayer, then I recommend Speed Racer. It's not the best game for sure, but it's fun.

I haven't really played much Wii, but one game I really liked was Nights: Journey of Dreams. That being said, I never finished it and I was really young when I played It so I don't really know how good it was. It also doesn't have the best reviews.

Get the GameCube Game: The Legend of Zelda Windwaker :)

I see you've mentioned Kirby's Epic Yarn already, but I'd recommend that game to just about anyone, regardless of personal taste. Get it if you can.
And I second the Wind Waker suggestion. If you liked the other Zeldas you'll like that one too.

Definitely get Metroid Prime Trilogy (if you haven't played 1 and 2 on GameCube), Red Steel 2, Conduit 1/2, Wario Land Shake Dimension, Pandroras Tower, Pikmin 1/2 (if you like the game type), Mario Party 9 (totally rules!) and the Kirby games!

I highly recommend using the WiiBrew Hack so you can install those games onto an external HDD. Its so much better than changing discs manually.
As far as games, one that instantly came to mind was Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure. Its a great third-person adventure/puzzle game, that's really charming and uses the Wii controls very well.
The Godfather: Blackhand Edition made better use of motion controls than probably any other game that generation, although the graphics are pretty crappy. Still, it got some extra content that the other versions didn't, and the controls are a blast.
If you like physics puzzle games, there are two Boom Blox games that I really enjoyed, especially as multiplayer.

Dead Space Extraction
Sonic Colors
The House of Dead Overkill
Rayman Origins
Resident Evil The Darkside Chronicles
WarioWare: Smooth Moves

I enjoyed Lost In Shadow, clever platformer although not amazing. The platforming itself is nothing of note but manipulating the shadows is cool, and the graphic style was nice.

It's not a perfect game, but Deadly Creatures is really fun any interesting, it's a very original game, that no one else has really replicated.

The price for Wii games seem to have gone as low as they are going to get, and seem to be slowly turning in the other direction, so I figure that now would be a good time for me to see if there are any gems that I missed. While I mainly used my Wii as a multiplayer thing (which was why i bought it in the first place, for couch multiplayer), there were some nice games on it that were single player focused, and those are mainly what I'm looking for (as I already have enough MP games on the system).
Anyway, this is what I have:
The Last Story
Epic Mickey 1 & 2
Battalion Wars 2
Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
Mad World
Resident Evil 4
Mario party 8
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
Muramasa The Demon Blade
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Wii Play
Okami
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Super Paper Mario
Metroid Other M
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Tenchu Shadow Assassin
Link's Crossbow Training
Xenoblade Chronicles
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Wii Sports
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
New Super Mario Bros Wii
No more Heroes
Red Steel
Bully
Castlevania Judgement
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Mario Kart Wii
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Punch Out!!
Monster Hunter Tri
De Blob
Final fantasy Fables - Chocobo's Dungeon
Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Skies
Baroque
As you might be able to tell from the list, some of those games come from buying collections, and are games that are not really word buying on their own (I'm thinking of Link's Crossbow training (lacking the thingy that came with it), Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Red Steel and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, but those lots also netted me some nice games)
I've considered getting No More Heroes 2 & A Boy and his Blob, but both of those have become oddly expensive.
Obligatory GA, ended
