Several good ones there, but I am so incredibly looking forward to getting Mount & Blade 2, Resident Evil 3, and Hellpoint.
ITTA is a late april release I'm personally quite looking forward to, it'll be $14,99.
Also on the Humble Store, so 20% off with an active Humble Choice Sub.
thanks, added it. The price will show steam prices.
little bump for ITTA
So far I think I'm slightly more than halfway through and as an absolute noob in bullet-hell games, it's quite forgiving so far. I like the story and exploration, it's a short game, but I'm happy with my purchase for now, - just really hope they add screenshot compatibility at some point.
I found this one, looks quite interesting.
thanks, added it.
I personally liked Oneiros, for that price quite a quality product, with decent voice acting and awesome music. PCgamer also recommends it from last week releases:
I created an achievement guide for it on steam, perfection isn't hard at all and could be done in one walkthrough. The guide include a walkthrough too if you get stuck on some puzzles. The best part of the game? You can watch five different old B movies in the 6 cinema rooms in chapter 4, that was amazing:-) I spent some time to watch the 2 SCI-FI ones:-)
+HYPE: Bannerlord release today, loved the first game, but I'll wait for the full game, not buying it on Early Access.
Mount & Blade Bannerlords and Horizon Zero Dawn (summer 2020) are the two games this year that I am most hyped for.
Hellpoint delayed to Q2, Xcom Chimera Squad suddenly showed up as an upcoming game. It should be on the list so added it:-)
Added The Shattering as an upcoming game as suddenly showed up as new game release and looks interesting.
Today game release:
Devious Dungeons 2
Hero of the Kingdom Lost Tales 1
I Will check upcoming games of May this weekend, so I can edit the topic.
I played Hero of the Kingdom already as it was offered to my curator channel. This episode returns to its roots. It is more like the original 1+2 instead of following the resource hunting and skill leveling path of Episode 3. My detailed review will be on steam right after the game available (it not will be linked here as that count advertising). If you liked 1+2 then you will like this one too. Length of the game: 3-4hours.
Topic updated with many more upcoming games, more to come. Feel free to share if you found something nice and you want to be on the list.
Help Will Come Tomorrow is released now. I played it, made some short video about its content, what I can't link to this topic. But I can share opinion:-) It is very hard to survive, easy to die, even on the easiest difficulty. Feels a bit overpriced, but it is indeed interesting and I would rename harder difficulties to: Death Will Come Tomorrow:-D It will be challenging to get all achievements because I am on 9/26 after finishing the game and not managed to unlock the whole story of any of the character. 100% will be rough.
Many interesting games were released yesterday and one more will unlock today. I went for Cloudpunk, I love it so far. An awesome fix if you sad about Cyberpunk 2077 delay and you need your cyberpunk+sci-fi fix. I might go for new XCOM after that as it is bloody cheap with the -50% starter sale (discount might be because owning XCOM1 and XCOM2?)
Desperados 3 got a release date yesterday, so landed on the list.
Can you let me know when We Love Katamari makes the list?
I never heard about that game but google says it is an old game, not an upcoming game. I also check upcoming games only on steam, but if there is any promising game on another platform with fix release date then I would be happy to add them to this list if someone gets the game and its release time to my attention.
6 new upcoming games (with fix release datum) added:
Ary and the Secret of Seasons
Want something on the list? Let me know if any other promising upcoming game is around with a somewhat fixed release datum.
Last update: 8th May
New games added:
Total Tank Simulator
Those Who Remain
Last update: 16th May
New games added:
Crusaders Kings III
Poly Bridge 2
SKYHILL: Black Mist
The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes
Released games since last update:
Virtuaverse 92% of 101 reviews positive
Well, i hope this topic still helps some to get informed about upcoming games, or not, i still do it for myself:-)
3 big, 4 indie promising title released yesterday, today 3 small indie games, they looks interesting, anyone planing to buy any of it? I thinking about The Academy, if it will have an ok indie price and once some useful informative review available
Today is the release of The Secret Government, strategy-grand strategy game with political-economy sim.
Looks promising, but the question is: will it be actually ok game or just a barebone EarlyAccess test project which abandoned if not enough early adopters?
The promising part: It has a roadmap...
It sounds promising. I loved Shadow President but haven’t found another game which has scratched the same itch. Thanks for drawing attention to it; hopefully it’ll turn out well.
I had to google Shadow President, pretty old game:-) YW, hopefully Secret Government will be ok, it has potential, we will see:-)
Got heavy rain and the port was awful. Game keeps crashing and had to play on low settings despite having above recommended specs. I had to refund
Hmm, reviews are 88% positive, are you sure your drivers were up to date? With common performance issues review ratio would be much lower. But it is true, PC ports of console games about 80-90% of the cases are terrible.
everything is up to date. I even optimised the game with nvidia and it makes the game run at 8-10 fps. I have to set everything at low. my specs are 9th gen i7, gtx 1880ti, 16GB ram, so it's the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases Nov 19 for me, it says Nov 20 in your table :)
recently changed it from the september release date as it was delayed again, guess i misstyped it, thanks for taking it to my attention:-)
Paper Dolls 2 revealed release time in last 24h so that changed to the next upcoming "promising" game. 1 is on -50% during summer sale which is a more suitable price based on the length of the game. That game has a walkthrough video and achievement guide from me on steam:-)
Added genre to every single game, if you think one of it not very well described, please let me know.
More update will come today evening, i plan to add more promising game, even if they dont have fix release date, but they will be at the bottom of the list until they get fix release datum. Do you have any suggestion what should be added as looks a promising game? Let me know, if the answer is yes:-)
Paper Dolls 2 got released at friday, 74% ish review value which is ok for these kind of games. Unfortunatly, unlike for the first one, no achievement guide from me on this, based on the first game i would have purchased only for aroun 9-10eur only as first was a bit too short for higher price, guess this similar to that one.
Next promising upcoming game is a F2P clicker: Soda Dungeon 2
Added a few more upcoming games with fix release datum or nearly fix (month).
Few interesting indie game releases today. I'll play Dead Age 2 from those, and "once" the new Artifex Mundi HoG. Beyond a Steel Sky looks also very interesting. Paws and Soul was on my radar for a long time but i tried the First Steps demo and i found controls bad, it might be changed a bit for the full game.
Creaks, The Feud and Necrobarista was released yesterday, today's new promising game release: Röki
Röki is a brilliant game well worth purchasing.
yeah, seen your review already, quite good:-) added to wishlist and waiting for -50% which is a suitable west EU region price for East Europeans:-)
I can't believe no one mentioned Carrion yet. I had the pleasure of playing the demo during one of the recent steam festivals and it was ridiculously good. And it's out today.
I saw the same concept of you play as the villain in The Dweller, but that's a puzzle game instead.
thanks, when i check for upcoming games i choose for steam to show unfiltered list but this game was still not visible, clearly an interesting game, added, but moved instantly to the "released in previous 1 month part", and this is why i hope someone (like you now) post missed interesting new games, if anyone know any:-)
Destroy all Humans, Grounded and Maid of Sker release today, all looks interesting and nice games.
They ninjareleased Othercide one day earlier what i missed:-(
Wind Peaks which is literally Hidden Folks in color gameplaywise, but with less people and focusing on finding items so you can progress on story with them. Store page mentions 1h gameplay time, that is wrong, it takes much longer to find the items. Tooltip say 29th, counter says 30th, so it might be on the day after tomorrow.
Cardaclysm: promising card game, might be flop, might be successful.
