Current Steam Store Discount:
$4.79 (-84% off)

Historical low:
$2.99 (April 28 - May 14, 2020 : Amazon - Origin key)

Previous Steam Store historical low:
$4.79 (Dec 22 - Jan 5th, 2022)

Preceding Steam Store historical low:
$5.99 (Jun 24 - July 8th, 2021)

Other Steam Store discounts on record:
$7.49 (March 28, 2022) (March 12 - 14, 2022) (Jan 27 - Feb 11, 2022) (April 15 - 26, 2021)
$8.09 (Nov 25 - Dec 1st, 2021)
$8.99 (Aug 12 - Aug 23, 2021)

Origin's discount ranges are directly comparable (including the storefront historical low - $4.79 @ Apr 19 - May 3 2022), though the discounts appear to pop up far more regularly on Origin.

Does anyone know if multiplayer is fixed?

Speaking as someone who doesn't own the game, this is about the sum of what I've heard on that:

https://www.reddit.com/r/titanfall/comments/rymkkh/playing_titanfall_in_2022_what_you_want_to_know/
https://www.ign.com/articles/titanfall-2-fans-solution-online-problems
https://www.pcgamer.com/after-years-of-struggling-against-ddos-attacks-titanfall-is-being-removed-from-sale/

In more succint form:
The last I heard the game works fine for multiplayer, but only if you're using a mod to launch custom servers. The core servers of Titanfall 2 are, last I heard, still being semi-regularly DDOSed to the point where playability is scarce, and the fact that they closed Titanfall 1's servers earlier this year for that same reason further suggests they hadn't figured out any kind of fix by that point.

Just to add on the Titanfall 2 situation:
the PC servers are back online and while they still have occasional connection issues (you may fail to enter a match), once you are in everything works well. And you can also use the Northstar mod to play on custom servers (that has been going on for a while when the official servers were down).
Right now it's really the best time to get back in the TF2 multiplayer. Sadly TF1 is still kind of a mess.

Since you're an active player, maybe you can answer two questions about the multiplayer:
First, does Attrition mode play out at all like classic Star Wars: Battlefront games? (I haven't played the newer Battlefront games, so I'm not sure how comparable they are, hence my being specific with the point of comparison.) And is Frontier Defense the only co-op mode?

Very very enjoyable game if you like shooters. Bought it last summer and have been having a blast with it since then.

Are the DLCs required for the singleplayer campaign, do they add anything to the allegedly six hours it takes to finish a SP playthrough?

Nope, they do not add annything to the Single Player.

Only customizable options without gameplay benefits for MP are in the DLC

I think I'll hold out for EA Access, campaign is so short it's better when coupled up with some other games

Does ultimate edition include all of the DLC?
I know the definition of 'ultimate' or 'complete' seems to mean different things to developers than reality

It is just the base game. I also wondered why it's called "Ultimate Edition".

Thanks! Not too much into PvP, but the reviews about the campaign are highly praised, so I picked it up. Anyone familiar with the PvP side of things? If, lets say, I picked up a copy for a friend, is there any team-oriented playing, or is it just all out destroy?

This game require constant internet connection and link with EA even for the Single Player campaign, or you can install and play offline?

I was able to play this game in offline mode. Internet connection is needed for playing it for the first time (activation).

Well, Steam is just a shell for Origin games, technically you need the Origin client in order to play and the game is automatically added on Origin with a steam logo on it.

ah ok so you can play with steam players also if you don't have the game on steam. i right?

It's a game it was hard to skip. I normally don't play many FPS's but this is one of the most enjoyable. I totally recommend it to anyone who wishes to play it. That price tag is for sure a great deal. You get to play online too.

I would love this, but I suppose I have to have an Origin account to play it?
