Which one should I get?

A PS3 is a console with a proper backlog of games

A PSV is a handheld that has nothing on it at the current moment

depends on what you want to play and how to play it. I would go with a ps3 since more games and it's more powerful. But if you're somewhat casual and like to take your gaming wherever then vita might be good.

Honestly, I'd tell you to save your cash and just throw it at upgrades on your PC, unless it's already fully decked out.

I'd say PS3 over Vita, but I prefer consoles over handhelds.

PSVita has a poor library as of now.

Just buy a good smartphone, there are some already more powerful than Vita (and in a couple of months they will be probably in the same price range) but smartphone can be used to much more things than mobile gaming ;-) PS3...reached it's limits IMHO, maybe we will see next generation in 2013 - buying now has not much sense for me - if you have a modern pc you will be probably disgusted with quality of graphics and low frame rates on big TV screen.

Up to you dude, VITA is like if you're on a bus-ride to school. You won't have all the time in the world to play games at home, whereas Ps3 is if you actually have time to play at home.

PS3 has some good games. PS Vita... I haven't heard many good things about it.

The Vita is supposed to be awesome, but there aren't enough good games for it.
I don't know if you really need a PS3 if you already own a 360, i would probably save the money until i can get a decent pc if i were you.

Get Vita. It is a great little console, but it doesn't sells too much. You purchase can make some difference; publishers will release more games on Vita because of you. And I will be disappointed if they never do a Gravity Rush sequels.
PS3 is so last generation anyway. Wait for PS4 if you want big console.
