I would change some things in my family that happend in the past, so present days would be better. After that I would probably end wars and made every country nice for living (depends on what citizens would consider nice) so people would not have to run for they lives and everyone would be happy in their countries.

Well, yes and no. You see, I would become evil if I wouldn't have enough power to change the world to peacefull place.
Or wait, the other way - in the first place there are my needs. I belive that changing Earth to peacefull, safe and wealthy place would fullfill my needs that I won't name now. If I wouldn't be able to change whole Earth to good place then yeah, probablly I would become kinda evil, make myslef a big army, conquer everything and then become strict but fair ruler. I would also create a new continent for people I don't like so I would be able to send them there instead of, I don't know, anihilating them.
Sure there are some questiong like if every people on earth is wealthy does that mean that no one is? or how are we able to cherish good things if we don't know bad things but I would think about it later.

You have an interesting point of view and there is strong logic in it. The only thing I don't like is the lack of brute force. Consider adding a pinch of destruction, the mortals need to know who's boss!

Oh, in second case scenario there would a lot of brute force. Do you think that all mafias, warlords, dictators and corruptet politics would so easily resign from their power? Unfortuantelly on my way to gain power some good people would die, but hey - I'm powerfull wizard I can ressurect them (you know, dragonball style - let's fight big evil destroying half of earth population, we will revive them later :P).
And keep in mind that I have said that Earth would be a peacfull place, I didn't say anything about other worlds that would be in my reach since I would be so powerfull ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง
