Why do I have to get a key to get the MP? Can't they just add it to steam? MP version have their own tab in the library? Does it have achievements?

The key is only for the beta. Once it's released it will be available for free through steam without a key. (just the mod)

What do I actually have to do to get a key? I made an account and got the email with my login details, but I can't figure out how to get a key?
