how can i PM people im not friends with on steam?

lets say i want to trade a key for a key and i wanna go first, how can i PM the key to the guy on the other side? we're both in the S.Trades group, but we aren't friends. is there any way to do that?

Click on them, and click the send message link if there is one available, if not, then you can't.
