in the worse case will get Not Received label in his profile
How would that be possible? If you are offline, you can't mark as not received. Anyway, if the ga creator doesn't mind waiting (i.e. you warned them and they said it's fine), i don't think it would be an issue.

I thought that GA automatically becomes Not Received if the winner doesn't mark it as received during the week. Am I mistaken?

Pretty sure you have to manually mark it as not received. Never had to do it myself though.

So you can check it as received even after a week without anything wrong happening with GA creator stats? Then it appears to be not obligatory. I'll leave the thread open as a polite advice

Giveaway feedback can be changed at all time, the only thing you can't do is marking not received before 7 days have passed since the giveaway ended

The only time I spent that long away from the internet was when my internet was down or I was sick as ****. Didn't eat for three weeks, water could make me puke during that time, sleeping almost all the time, and only for the fourth week was I able to start keeping stuff down, though only cup soup and toast.
Worst birthday I ever had. :P
Did lose some weight though.

Yeah, definitely not the best birthday :) As for me I'm going to nature now. River to be more accurate. Unfortunately mobile Internet here isn't very good, but it's even better to have some rest from everyday routine. It's nice to change habits sometimes. Still plan to play Don't Starve or Grim Fandango some evening if the weather is bad :D

How does the giveaway creator get a not received label from me being on vacation? I mean, If I can't check my email for received gifts how am I gonna go mark it as not received?
Some might find it impolite or even rude to win a giveaway and not be available to mark it as received right away, but in my opinion it's really not a big deal. I don't know how many people would check the clock and request a reroll as soon as 168 hours have passed, especially if you can see in both Steam and steamgifts that the winner hasn't been online since before the giveaway ended'

Well, no, since the winner will be offline ^^

I won't be able even to write an e-mail :) Anyway I left all GAs which ends too soon and made the note in my profile on Steam just in case.

Do you mean 7 days plus 1? Because I've seen already several topics with people panicking where is their winner even on the next day after the GA.

Try not to enter giveaways which ends soon if you're going to be offline for week and more (holiday/vacation/etc).
If you even win while you're absent you won't be able to get the game and check it as received. The creator most likely will have to reroll it. I created this thread because I'm going to be offline during ~10 days. I found myself removing entries from around 30 GAs (mostly trains) for which I simply didn't pay attention to the end-date. Thank you for the attention and have a nice summer :)
