So i need 1 more TF 2 key for a trade and i have no more credit in my wallet, no problem, let´s add more.

And Steam no bitches "Oh sorry, you used a new credit cards, yeah, no good, you will have to wait untill the 23rd to have the privilige of using our market"

Okay, fuck you Steam, i will sell my cards to get the money!

"ohhh, didn´t i tell you? When i mean market i also mean you can´t sell the cards you got from YOUR games, you are not privileged any more, that will teach you to use the same card"

And let´s not even bother with Steam Support.

Iam mad, anyone knows a workaround?

I had the same issue when I used PayPal quite some time ago. It's apparently normal the the market gets blocked for a few days when you add money to your wallet. And if it's for protection then I'm perfectly fine with it.

The market only get's blocked if you use a new way of payment.

I had this problem a few weeks ago. I normally get wallet cards since I live right by a CVS but got a prepaid visa as a gift and decided to put it all in my wallet. Immediately lost my market access for a week.

I wrote to support and they flat out said there is nothing they can do to remove this restriction. You're fucked basically.

THIS is exactly what happened to me on day 1 of the sale. No stores around here sell steam cards so I was stuck using a pre-paid CC. Have to wait til the 19th to access the market. I'm NOT happy with it but what can I do? Not much really so I'll have to wait. Really sucks though. :(

I understand the policy, but I wish Steam would at least give a big bold warning before letting you go through with it.

You could try opening an alternate account and attempt to use the card on there. If it works, gift yourself the items and games.

New Steam accounts are restricted for an initial period, I believe.

You have to wait 15 days after enabling steam guard before you can trade or do the market

I was referring to his question about the market lock-out. There's nothing you can do to make it end sooner.

Then you should have used 'solution' instead of 'workaround'

I'm not sure which one of these is more adequate as a response to your pointless comments, so have both:

This isnt true. You can still trade, you just cant sell or buy from the market.

When people get scammed they scream "STEAM DOESNT PROTECT ME ENOUGH",then when steam adds protection they scream they dont want restrictions... And yeah OFC they mean with market that you also cant sell your cards there, its the market after all. Best options are having a friend buy you a key / trade cards for key or look for another offer for the trade.

No, he won't be able to trade it till 23rd July. The only workaround is to get keys via PayPal from someone trustworthy.

He won't be able to trade keys he'll buy via Mann co store, but if someone trades with him and give him keys they will be tradable.
