Beer make hungry and only drink alcohol is stupid too.

Just on the side note, "diet" means any kind of specific food intake. Like how pandas' diet consists of bamboo, but not to lose weight, but as their normal diet. Similarly we have diets for weight loss, low cholesterol, low fat (for people with gall bladder problems), allergen-free diets, etc. No need for quotation marks, consuming only beer is just another diet. Alcohol is questionable, but I see more potential problem with the lack of dietary fibre, unless he is drinking some kind of beer that has that too.

unfortunately I can't drink alcohol at all, and this has been going on for.. 15+ years? =P
so no beer diet for me ç_ç (and if it has no alcohol well, I remember it had a bad taste even if we produce a lot of beer here among wine =P)

But you have drank alcohol (for a long time)? It made me feel more and more crap (litterally having go to the bathroom 5 times a day after) and the bad feelings afterwards wasn't worth it anymore for me, i had some periods i was off for a weeks then trying it out again but my body still reacted badly, now i'm almost 9 weeks clean). :) 0,0% beers aren't real beers, taste like some light soda.

that's great! =) When I was told I had psychological problems, well, doctors immediately said to cut off any kind of alcohol - I had been drinking a lot when I was like 15 or 16 years old, now it's different here in Italy at least, but in the '90s I remember we went to our local grocery stores (Conad, Coop, Carrefour etc.), buy bottles of vodka, rhum and such without anyone asking us if we were 18+ and in fact.. no one of us looked like a 18 years old.. =P
of course they told me not to smoke anything, but I never tried in my entire life even a cigarette so.. it wasn't painful =P I loved to drink as a teenager, even for social things, to feel included and so on.. I remember beer isn't that great, my father drinks lots of Becks' every day though.. my girlfriend used to drink 0% beer but it really tastes bad! =\
yeah.. I think I'm over many psychological problems but I've got still chronical illnesses and alcohol would definitely make everything worse, even if beer is not a 40% vodka.. (oh I loved absynthe a lot, and yeah, even that one we could buy at 15 =P).. and I won't try 0% beer.. water every day and I'm ok at least with that..
on the negative side, I found out other things to harm myself with during those years but I definitely put away alcohol in my teens and I'll never drink again.. not worth it.. even if it's just a beer for me =P

Doctors will just generally just always say that to stop alcohol.
Hope you can get rid of those other things, i got oxazepam through the doctor, like a chill pill (for me atleast still makes me function and the real effects only last a short time but take it when needed, then again in the end it was hard for me to even get tipsy or drunk too) Maybe that's an option for something less damaging?

Dehydration is going to do him in, no matter how much water he drinks. And I hope he's getting vitamin supplements with that moron "diet" or he'll be real good looking when his teeth starts to rot and his hair starts falling because he got scurvy.

Alright, don't do this. If you want to lose weight you need to understand the impact hormones have to do with body composition. What you consume impacts your hormones. Some hormones make your body store different things. Some hormones make your body use different things. This guy's "diet" is most likely not making him use his fat stores as fuel, and instead his body is going to use other parts of his body for fuel because his hormones are making it chemically impossible to use fat stores as his insulin is probably spiked from the beer. This kind of diet is an actual starvation diet, it's the unsafe kind of diet because his body will most likely cannibalize muscle and important fats around his organs which are easier for the body to access while having bad hormone levels. He would be better off not eating anything at all and taking only a salt supplement (a water fast) and a multivitamin and maybe a desiccated liver supplement if he was being too active. His body would then use his existing fat stores as energy until he got skinny. But better yet a keto or paleo diet with high fat/sub 10 carb a day macro would be much more healthy long term. Stop drinking juice, eat whole fruit because you need the dietary fiber that is in the fruit. Stop drinking soda. Including diet soda too it's also bad for your stomach biome.
