IndieRoyale Lightning Round: Serious Sam LIGHTNING Pack

Now that was random. I usually check 100 times a day but honestly didn't expect this... lightning. So, anyone getting it? I'm not really a fan of Serious Sam so I might pass on that. Rather, I have most of them anyway. Meh.

And it's made with REAL LIGHTNING

As always, DO NOT SUBMIT THAT BUNDLE WHILE IT IS STILL BEING SOLD, or there will be trouble <3

I'm not that familiar with the Indie Royale. Other than knocking the price down for others, does beating the minimum do anything else?

If you spend more than the average, usually you'll get the additional extras, should there be any. If you get the bundle prior to the addition of those extras, you should have them by default.

No, but you can't pay less than the minimum. And I think there are Milestones, when the total amount of money donated reaches one, they add some sort of thing, normally Soundtracks or games for Desura.

That was true for the first IR bundle only. After the milstones were reached with a very... unexpected rate they decided to just unlock bonuses once in a while (as you can see this bundle already has one "bonuse" "unlocked").

This was expected, people found the registry few days ago. And you usually get a bunch of chiptunes for beating the average.

Yeah but I had assumed they would do another of their witty preorder shenanigans. But it's good! Because I would have gone for a hidden pack, so that saves me a few bob.

What he means is that submitting individual keys in a giveaway is not allowed, but giving them away in the forums in 1stcome-1st-serve fashion is tolerated.

Yeah, but then labelling it as "bonus" is redundant, since it's been there since the beginning. I guess IR are trying out different models, but haven't fully thought it through.

That could be because an IR bundle is supposed to have strictly 4 games in it initially. But this would in turn mean they would either have to include only SS indie series (probably not too many people would buy) or 3 indie + 2 old SS (not so "indie" anymore). So this could just be a compromise solution.
