Lets see how good SG users are with math. I need to know what my % is to finding a winner for a DLC after a reroll and how many reroll I would need before a winner will appear. Thanks. Now lets begin with the math fun.

1 Giveaway, 16 entry, 15 entry without base game, 1 entry own base game but already have the DLC. Now how many reroll will it take before I get a winner.

Please post your answer and show the steps as to how you come up with the answer. Not showing steps will result in 0 grades.

Wait, but wouldn't that be none of the choice answers at all then?

so no point of adding the winner to see if they are willing to get the base game? Also, if I ask for the giveaway to be deleted, would I in turn lose a giveaway slot?

Sure you can ask them if they want to get the base game.

You'll lose a giveaway slot, yes, but I think you have plenty. And if you need more, just make a ticket in "Other" to ask for them.

Lol after reroll it's 100% assuming you are giving it to someone doesn't own the base game or the DLC and the guy you rerolled was the one who owned both. So you would only need 1.

Now if you had no intention of giving the DLC to someone who already owns it or doesn't have the base game in which case there is 0 % chance of finding one since there is no eligible winners. So you could reroll another 15 times but still end up doomed. I am assuming that rerolling takes them out of possible winners. I have no idea if tat's actually how it works.

if they don't own the base game, they won't be able to add the dlc to account with mean they will have a non-active win. As for the one with the DLC already, I am not sure what his case will be since you suppose to ask for reroll if they own the item already.

Hmm, usually if users don't have the base game, they cannot enter. However, some games(ex: Rome Total War - Alexander) allow to enter. I had to re-roll once such a case.
Anyway, about your question, there is no way to find the winner, I think. After 15 re-rolls, and finally you will need to delete the GA. :(

As it's stated 0% & you'll never find a winner because of the 16, 1 already has the game & DLC & 15 don't have the base game.

Unknown variable exists as any of the entrants that didn't have the base game could end up buying the base game in the time it takes for a reroll request to be fulfilled.

None of the answer, You have 1/16 chance to have to do a reroll, unless winning entry got the game meanwhile or doesn't want it.
