Платформер может быть и трёхмерным. Сам жанр описывает чем предстоит заниматься игроку, а 2D - реализация, элемент способа подачи этого геймплея, в том числе платформенных механик.
Со вторым возможно - кажется здесь нет прямого перевода без использования слэнга.
Меня смущает Чолла, т.к. в нашей культуре это не распространено и не переносит смысла, однако при замене на уровень вверх (Прыгающие Чолла>Прыгающие кактусы) ломается логика, либо я не понимаю как корректно это преобразовать.

De actie stopt niet in Lightbul. Je zult je wapens altijd gebruiken en Prickle roepen voor zijn speciale krachten. Deze twee zijn voor niets bang. Ze zijn niet de meest geschikte kandidaten, maar ze zullen hoe dan ook de klus proberen te klaren. Bob was een beveiliger, maar er waren geen andere moedige mensen die Prof. Elusk kon vinden om de stad te redden. Dus is Elusk het brein en levert Bob de spierkracht. Prickle is er om te zorgen dat Bob de boel niet verknalt. Tijdens elk plan zul je veel moeten schieten, van vliegende auto's moeten springen en mensen in nood moeten helpen.
B&P komt uit in de eerst kwartaal van 2020 en bevat onder andere:

(First Revision) About the Game:
Bob and Prickle is a fast-paced platformer shooter game where you fight against the evil company NZT who is hellbent on ruling the city of Lightbul. You control Bob, a self proclaimed superhero, (who is actually just an unemployed fat guy) and his assistant Prickle.
Fire up your jet pack and get ready to shoot all the enemies who stand in your way because NZT has developed the drug ‘catrik’ which transforms humans into Mazloms (I would include a description of what Mazloms are but I don't know what they are). You will encounter many Mazloms along your journey, but don’t worry because Professor Mellon Elusk is there to help. Choose your favorite weapon and show NZT just how powerful you are!
Although Bob and Prick are polar opposites, the relationship between them is very special. The “Jumping Cholla” as they call themselves will both take part in saving Lightbul with many jokes and roasts along the way. And with Prickle’s special powers, you will be able to do so much more than you can imagine, and it will add a great atmosphere while playing.
Bob and Prickle is set in the 2040s where flying cars and robots are the norm, but despite these technological advancements, you will still feel a sense of familiarity as you explore the world. In order to destroy NZT, you need to track and takedown those who work there while also encountering different bosses and enemies along the way. The action won’t stop in Lightbul, you will always use your guns and call Prickle for his special powers, these two won’t fear anything. They may not be the best people for the job but they will try to get it done somehow. Bob was a mall cop, but there are no other brave men who Prof. Elusk can use to save the city, so Elusk is the brains and Bob is the muscle -- Prickle is just here to make sure Bob doesn’t screw things up. Each plan will involve a lot of shooting, jumping from flying cars, and helping out everyone in need.
B&P is coming in the first quarter of 2020 and will feature:

Giocherai come Bob, un uomo che si auto-definisce supereroe, anche se in realtà è soltanto un ciccione disoccupato.. e come il suo assistente, Pickle. Accendi il tuo jet-pack e uccidi tutti i nemici che saranno sulla tua strada! La NZT ha creato una droga chiamata "catrik" che trasforma gli umani in mazlom, e nel tuo percorso ne incontrerai tantissimi.. quindi sii certo di prendere le decisioni giuste, e non preoccuparti: il professor Mellon Elusk sarà lì per aiutarti in ogni momento! Con tantissime varietà di armi, potrai scegliere la tua preferita e mostrare a Lightbul quanto sei forte.. sempre nel caso che tu lo sia! Il rapporto tra Bob e Prickle è speciale e strano allo stesso tempo, perché si trovano proprio ai due opposti; entrambi tuttavia condivideranno la tua avventura nel salvare Lightbul, e dandosi da soli il soprannome di Jumping Cholla condivideranno anche tanto umorismo e risate! Bob era una guardia in un supermercato, ma non erano disponibili altri uomini coraggiosi che il professor Elusk avrebbe potuto chiamare per salvare la città.. così, Elusk lavorerà come cervello e Bob come braccio - Prickle, beh, è lì per esser sicuro che Bob non mandi tutto all'aria!
