Yes, this isn't allowed because it means that if I look at your owned games on Steam, the game (Stronghold Crusader HD) doesn't appear. Therefore, it can be considered "failure to activate won game", which is against the rules. Giving the wrong game is also against the rules, so unfortunately, the only choice you have is to mark as not received.
As a rule of thumbs, never accept a key or gift for another game than specified on the giveaway.

I'm afraid that support cannot delete a giveaway that has ended. Then again I'm not 100% sure about this. The best thing would be for the giveaway creator to purchase and give you the gift you were originally supposed to receive.
But yeah, submit a support ticket and see what they have to say on this matter. :)

Support can delete ended giveaways with the winner's permission and with a "delete giveaway" ticket from the giveaway creator.
