• Current thread topic changed to the above. ^

    • Use this to be lazy together. Vita is love, Vita is life.
  • Previous thread topic and description was: Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God or Persona 3 Portable?

    • So there are a couple of sales going on for the PlayStation Europe Store, and I've about 10 pounds left, just enough for one of these. Anyone have any thoughts and opinions about them?

    • I love the look of Sorcery Saga with its ridiculous setting and story and that it's got Japanese audio and trophies (I'm starting to become a trophy whore), but at the same time I'd love the physical version of this instead, but it's uncertain whether or not I'll ever get my hands on it, being unavailable in my region. And I hear good things about this dungeon-crawler/rogue-like in terms of gameplay quality.

    • At the same time Persona 3 Portable is a classic and would further complete my Persona collection, but there aren't any trophies for it. And I'm OCD about it, trying to first collect all Persona games before playing them, so this would bring me closer to that objective (Persona 2 purchase left). Plus, they're almost always at a ~25 pounds price-tag, rarely going on sales in Europe, so a 60% discount is a very tempting offer.

    • Has anyone played any or both of these?

Bonus question: Anyone Romanian ever use one of the available Europe Amazon Stores, like Amazon.es, for example? Any trouble with shipping and any extra costs? Ordered a mechanical keyboard some time ago and it's due to arrive but the Chronopost tracking (the delivery company used by Amazon.es, based in France, I think) reported some issues with the shipment, though now it should still be en route.

Thank you, all.

If anything, feel free to hijack this thread for similar issues, rather than letting it die.

Sorry can't help on these specific games but... LONG LIVE THE VITA! :D Have you played Tearaway yet?

Yeah, got the physical version. Best use of the Vita's features in a game. Long live physical media, as well!

I waited until it dropped to around 16 bucks, but the waiting made it all the sweeter.

Good idea! $40 was a lot but I had confidence in Mm after delivering one of my favorite series: LBP

Totally worth even 40 dollars. I only waited because I had no other choice. I did just get Little BIg Planet as well, so looking forward to getting into it. I hear the Vita version is the best one, because it's more immersive.

Sure is! Especially for creating your own levels. New materials, complexity in layers, controls, effects etc. Enjoy it! You plan on getting a PS4, or already have one? If you like LBP Vita, LBP3 is coming this November. btw nice to have a fellow not completely PC master race SG user here. :)

No, I've been strictly a PC gamer until this year, so I just got my first PS3 as well. It will be long before I get a PS4, but I don't mind letting that library build up and prices going down. Though I will get this model even if a new version is released, because it's just so sleek and beautiful. Even for the PS3 I went with the Slim version, because I find the Super Slim beyond ugly.

I'm still a master race member, but that doesn't mean I don't step down from my throne now and then and see how my peasants are faring. I need to keep an eye on things if I am to properly rule this land.

hahaha! Well unlike you, I am the opposite. This is my first year of PC gaming. It is also coming to PS3 so if you want to get it later you could get it <$40 fairly soon :)

Ah, nice. I saw the announcement at E3 but didn't notice the PS3 version announcement.

The Vita is getting one as well, but it's weird, it seems to be a Endless-Runner-like, similar to those on mobile devices. I am disappointed.

I've played both of them. Sorcery saga is definitely a cute, fun game and if you're looking for trophies you should go with it. Persona 3 is a really great game and I highly recommend it but if you're waiting to play it until you have them all then I think you should go with something you will want to play right away. Ultimately, it's up to you but I think you would be happy with either :p

I'm greedy and I want both, which leads me to being indecisive, hehe.

I'd like to say I could flip a coin to decide. But I can't let a coin decide. I just... can't.

I'd go for Persona 3, it's one of those games you like to play from time to time. But... you have a vita :p question sorcery saga would be better to make use of your console capacities.

In what way does Sorcery Saga fit my console better?

Did you see P3 portable? More than the half of the game are sprites. But that shouldn't be a problem if you liked the original game.

Thank you all for your thoughts on the matter and I shall rename this thread so that maybe other fellow Vita owners can find help/each other in it.
