Does LA noire have a good story?

I personally didn't like it. I found it to be a very slow and boring game and I didn't enjoy the story at all.

It gets really repetitive at times and the partners you get are all jerks.

I personally really enjoyed the game, and the story...but I guess it depends on the player too.

I enjoyed the game and the story. You will find different stories which will cross... I really loved that fact ! But I can't spoil too much. :/

I think yes. So intresting, but slow story(and I like this!), it's like a book, u don't want that it ended.

Story? No. Stories? Yes. Main storyline is quite weak while the cases are mostly interesting.

Really depends... if you like Film Noir or Neo-Noir (like LA: Confidential), you will love the storytelling and atmosphere! The cases are really good stories in themselves

Actually, Story in this game is based on missions but they are not so sticked together like in GTA. You've got the case, you solve it, you move on to the next case. Game itself is great though, unless you have less than 4-core CPU.

The overarching story is kind of dull, but some of the individual cases are really interesting. By the time you get to like the last third of the game though it starts to feel boring and repetitive. The game probably could have been a lot shorter and been a lot more effective. It's probably worth it for like $5 or whatever it's going for on steam today.

Nah, great facial animations though, it's the first game using celebrity actors that I've played where I have actually been able to recognize the celebs.

Just throw the money at your screen, it's worth it. It's slower than GTA, but it's supposed to be that way.

I personally don't like the game. Regardless of the story, the questioning mechanism is so unintuitive that i consider it to be broken.

I felt like it was decent and was worth playing, if you do get it make sure you get the complete version since some of those cases are really good(I especially liked the electroplating one)
