My suggestion is to make the starting plushie cuter, so that the player can relate to it more, and care more possibly for it to not get killed by the monsters.

Game Update: Added the Bedroom which will work as the Main menu where you can change settings, swap plushies, even customize colors of the bed and furniture, also gender for the sleeper is ready. Also other plushies are shown in description of the game.
