Is Awesomenauts a good game?

I have 8 hours on it, but about 4 of those are from idling. I really did not have a good time playing the game. I just didn't like it. But I do have some friends who enjoy it a lot. I think it all comes down to: If you like MOBAs and if you do, do you like casual MOBAs like Awesomenauts or more "competitive" MOBAs like Dota or LoL.

I like it. it's my favourite MMOBA Game ! :)

It's pretty cool in my opinion. I've played LoL for 2 years (quit 11 months ago) and it actually made me sick of multiplayer games, but Awesomenauts is nice to play once in a while. It's totally different, though, despite both games being MOBAs.

In my opinion it's pretty good and has a lot of intense battles. You should give it a try ;) A really good online action platformer.

I think it's better then LoL, at least a better community then the "OMG NOOB UNINSTALL GAME PLZ!" screaming kid that's in every other LoL match I've played.
It's a lot more casual and far from perfect (leaderboards/matchmaking aren't the best).

Unlike LoL, this game is all about platforming for escapes. Also it's a lot more fast paced, games sometimes end in less then 10 minutes. With 30 minute+ games being rare (not nonexistant though)

I personally love Awesomenauts! I have 95 hours in, and i've enjoyed every minute of it! (well except for the times where my team is just getting wrecked). I'd recommend watching Totalbiscuit's WTF is... about the game, then decide.

The platorming aspects set it apart from other mobas, which is a good thing. Still haven't played it much but I'm planning to give it another shot when I get my games backlog down.
