I am definitely agreeing with you on this. Trying to moderate a group with lots of members especially the ones perma banned from sg is doing my head in. Pro BUMP :)

I really appreciate the work moderators do to keep their groups running. If it´s possible to make their lifes easier than it should be considered.

I don't know how group managing works on SG and you might also have the problem of different usernames, but i tend to use Qualidator to find differences in lists.
It's a 'programm' which analyses two different texts to each other, marks the differences as red/green and the same parts as black.
That way you could go over the 800 users rather quickly and find out where which user is missing. As said, only problem is the different usernames ppl might have :/

How would syncing a users account be any different from how the accounts are regularly synced about every week upon log in?

When you're active you need to sync regularly (used to be once per week, I think now it's more frequent). So it wouldn't be an issue.
Just give ability to press once per month sync button and people who aren't in steam group but are in group on SG page would be removed.

Pleaseeee, I have a bunch of people that were kicked months ago and they still appear on the page, users that were permabanned and still show up in the members group.. :(

Hello there,
I have a rather annoying problem, in my group, I have 787 members counted by on sg, but on the official group page on steam, there are actually only 599 members. Who are these extra members? People who have been kicked, months ago. I often go through the pages to catch people who are using the group improperly, and when I see multiple people on EVERY PAGE that are inactive, it's annoying. (going through 188 extra members, just to find the inactive ones still in the group.)
So, I thought of a solution that I think would be welcome.
Could there be Group refresh buttons? One for every group, for only the creator of that group to use to force sync everyone's in the groups accounts here on sg, at least once a month. So you could only click the button once a month, (or three months) to clean out the inactive members.
OR give support members the ability to force sync groups via ticket request.
OR have permabanned SG members to have their "groups" reset/zeroed out upon being banned.
If you have any additional ideas, I would love to hear them, or something to add on.
Please consider this. Would make life so much easier.
