help, cant advance in max payne 3

i got a problem with max payne 3, where the game wont save checkpoits past chapter 9, i mean i can continue playing the missions past it, and restart checkpoints fine, but when i exit the game, then go back to continue, the game starts from the first chapter, and if go to select chapter, it will show that the chapters that i already completed (10 and 11) are locked, but i still get the golden guns and clues.

I had a similar problem, where if you shot an enemy non-fatally he'd just lay on the floor doing nothing, but not dead, so the game couldn't advance unless I headshot everyone. Don't remember how I fixed it, but Max Payne 3 was really badly ported to PC.

That's a strange problem, but my experience was practically flawless. The only issues I had was when I started it up for the very first time and I think it was having issues connecting to the Rockstar Social Club.
