So I have someone impersonating me

They ripped someone off using my name, I reported them to steam but I can't seem to figure out how to get his unique steam ID

http://steamcommunity.com/id/orgeIambart Is the profile link.. Anyone able to help me out with finding his unique ID so I can go even further with my reporting of him on the off chance he changes his name and profile

Adding to the above, Steamrep also lets you find people's permanent IDs.

Install Enhanced Steam, it gives you ID and neat links to SG, ST, SteamRep, etc

pretty sure the profile shows they are 'Currently trade banned' regardless if you use an add-on or not, so I don't know why someone would trade with that user, though

edit: maybe that only showed after, though I'm pretty sure it's been there for a while..

I think it was a new trader who was taken advantage of,, I"m trying to offer them some advice atm so their future trades will work out better but they are obviously angry about the situation.

I can't blame them for being angry, just a real shame that some people feel the need to cheat others. Hopefully steam will be able to help them in some way or at the very least give a permanent ban to that person for impersonating another user..

practically everyone there is taking advantage of someone. this person is just stealing, though, I'm guessing.

not really, trading is about giving something you have, for something that you want.. You are right that person did steal from what I can tell..

Just unfortunate that people need to try and use other people's goodwill to steal from people..

everyone has their situation, I guess. can anyone really judge..

edit: today I saw someone selling Tales of Zestiria and the Naruto game for $0.50/ea*, so I told the user it was worth at "least" $5 (I mean, it practically is in a relative term).
Obviously, they didn't know what it was worth (even all games at $0.50 is only 50% of the bundle cost). Very shortly, before or after, someone immediately quoted sending a message for both of the games wanting to get it. I would say that is almost taking advantage of someone's ignorance, at least. You could say the user was an idiot and should know, though, since they likely bought the bundle anyway.

that is kind of odd, I wouldn't buy games at such low prices, either the person doesn't know any better or it's some type of scam...

it wasn't a scam. they just didn't know what any of the games were worth; it was ignorance, and their first time posing steam codes :(
