I have a million+ badge. I had restarted a game to make sure I got my card drops one day and got into a game that apparently had some script runners. It was going 20-40 levels every update. It was crazy.

How? There are only 86,400 seconds in a day. To get to level 2,254,390 in 24 hours, your team would have to complete an average of just over 26 levels per second, every second.

Everybody interested in steam minigame master strategy is waiting either on reddit, or twitch.tv/uLLeticaL.
A moderator, or somebody in charge announces an empty chat room he just joined so everybody can follow.
Of course there are more than 1,5k people interested, so there are a few rooms being hosted. And as you can guess, you have to be pretty fast as room fills in in a few seconds.

Valve made it for abuse.
If everybody played fair you wouldn't reach any higher than day 1 rooms.
The whole current strategy for reaching high scores is basically making all players in the room following the same rule, and this can be made only by automated scripts.

Actually, games like that are made to check how clever, organized and freshminded people are. And also, script is not even a cheat. If steam servers were better, and internet connection was fucking fast everywhere we probably wouldn't have to make scripts. Point of creating them is that people are too flawed for things like that. Aaand you gotta have your browser open if you use script.

If you check your badges page, what is the level listed for your 'Monster Summer Badge' badge (not the 'Monster Summer Sale' badge that has been dropping cards lately, but the one near the end the end of your list of badges that maxes out at 200 XP). I don't want to waste space listing all 42 possible badges, so just pick the closest number without going over.
Edit: OK, poll results are indicating that my expectations were too low, and I should have definitely included some more poll choices between 500,000+ and 1,000,000+. Apologies for the heavy skew in the poll results.
