Maybe the better option would be to re-instate th Anomaly games to the giveaway list and change the points (to enter / CV) to zero.

They take them off the list to save the site from being infested and using too many resources.

Performance is one thing, rules are another thing.
Everyone is allowed to give away promotional games, as long as it's only 1 copy, otherwise it's considered as "exploiting the promotion", followed by a suspension - at least that's how these things were handled in the past.
Removing Anomaly from the giveaway list only lead to the creation of misleading giveaways, e.g. giving it away as Anomaly Korea, et cetera
Thus my suggestion to bring back the actual game, suspend the exploiters - and if performance is an issue just disable the site's replies section for the time being.

Yeah, this is terrible, especially since there is a thread right above this one about free copies... so everyone creating these are blatantly abusing the system... I was hoping to enter some giveaways for korea, since I've had Anomaly: Warzone Earth for a while. I am really glad I noticed that some do note in the descriptions that it isnt the right game.. I would be willing to bet though, that the ones with nothing in the descriptions are false as well.

Unfortunately they wouldn't be able to, as there is no way to know where it came from. Although now that I think about it, I remember GT Legends being removed once before and they only allowed giveaways for it to go up with proof of purchase. The problem with that though is that it creates extra work for the staff and they probably have enough to deal with as is what with the long ticket backlog (not that they helped themselves out with that one by neglecting to bring in more people onboard to assist).

I think it would be better to mark all of these giveaways have a banner stating that if the game received is different from the one stated that not reporting it and just marking it as received can get the user suspended.

So you would punish the RECEIVER of the giveaway, if they win and don't report it?

If you receive a game different to the one listed, you MUST mark it as not received.
Later, if someone notices that you have won a game that is not on your account, you WILL be suspended for it. If you marked it as received, it's your fault. I'm saying that the site should warn the winners in advance about this.

No disrespect meant here, but IF you did indeed buy it, right now is the wrong time to be trying to give it away. The coincidence of you making the giveaway right when you can get the game free is... difficult to believe. You are also still violating a rules by making a giveaway for the wrong game, no matter what you write in the description.
You are still in the wrong here. Please take down your incorrect giveaway.

And watch as no one believes you, and ignore us telling you to delete the rule breaking giveaway

pics.. or it didn't happen
anyway it doesn't change the fact that you can't give away a game under another game's name as you're doing right now

As has been pointed out, you cannot create a giveaway for a game other than the one you are actually giving away. For example, I cannot make a giveaway for Skyrim and give Terraria to the winner instead of Skyrim.
You broke the rules of the site.

I came here hoping to find a link where all these seemingly free copies of this game were coming from. I am disappointed.

Unfortunately that's not the reality in many cases. A lot of people either just don't read, don't care to pay attention, don't know the giveaway guidelines or proper procedures, etc. For example, I have seen some Dead Island or Dead Island: Riptide giveaways that were actually gifts/keys for Dead Island: Epidemic (free-to-play game), but yet the winner still marked as received.

just remove the users aka leech kids living on mummy's credit card, not the games.
seriously i cant stand people who thinks they are so so clever "oh im a total leecher but hey i ve found a free key! i will use this to raise my cv, it will help me in my evil plan of leeching the community even moaaar" there is no place for such things in an honest sharing community.

Regarding the free Anomaly: Warzone Earth keys being created as a giveaway for another game -- this violates the guidelines for giveaways (regardless of any disclaimer written in the description) and constitutes what amounts to a misleading/incorrect giveaway. This is significant because it could potentially lead to someone getting suspended for not activating a game that they never actually received. Not that the people who do this are going to read this anyway, so it's more directed at the staff here.
To the mods: If you want to put a stop to this then you need to either start suspending people who are doing the above or take away their giveaway slots. Now that "Mobile Campaign" (not the same game as the original btw) has been removed from the giveaway list you can see that people are simply putting these keys up as Anomaly Korea, and if you remove that they will just do it as Anomaly 2, and so on and so forth. Removing all of the Anomaly games from the giveaway list is not the solution here, and it shows that how the policy of handling this situation (that is to say a free game being given away en masse) is inadequate.
