Fallout New Vegas GMG

So, I've got a key for Fallout New Vegas from Green Man Gaming, but when I try to activate it, it says that it's region restricted. My question is, if I ACTIVATE it trough VPN, will I be still able to PLAY it without using any type of VPN?

Edit: I live in Hungary, and there should be no region locks for this (and almost any) game here.

That's strange. If you didn't use a VPN or proxy when you bought the game from GMG, you should have received a key for your region. I have a friend who ordered a game from work, but he didn't know that the computers there use o proxy server from the US, so he got a US key instead of a European key. He then called GMG support and they gave him another key.

I received it as a gift, but if they give another key than that's okay I guess.. I don't want to add the game to my account just to watch it without being able to play it without VPN

Ne használj VPN-t, mert bannolhatnak, inkább írj a GMG supportnak először.

Tudtommal aktiválásért nem jár ban, csak ha veszel valamit, bár már az aktiválást sem kockáztatnám meg.. közben írtam a GMG supportnak, remélhetőleg lesz is rá válasz :P

De, sajnos aktiválásért pont jár ban ha vpn alapon csinálod. Valószínűleg NA(North America) kódot kaptál.

New vegas has strange region restrictions. You probably must buy russian version. I have the russian version and i somehow access only russian forums, but i'm from EU and many russian games are restricted to me. I don't get why bethesda or valve thinks that some EU countries are russia.
