Two months ago in August Just Cause 3 was free on PSN as part of the Instant game collection for PS+ members. I had heard mixed things about the game but since it was free I picked it up and the Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass as well because it was on sale. Yesterday I couldn't sleep so I finished liberating Medici and the Collectibles after already beating the story during the day. I mostly ignored the Challenges which turned out to be a mistake because all the gear mods they grant would have given me even more options to mess around. I don't really intend to platinum the game because there are a couple of Achievements related to Challenges and Gear mods but I'm pretty darn close. Now my problem is that there are a couple of Achievements related to the High Score System and Callouts and barely anybody seems to use that part of the game so I was wondering if some of you multi-platform gamers here on SG picked the game up as well and would like to do some Callouts.
I already have Can't Touch This (Na Na Nana NaNa NaNa) but I'm still missing Anything You Can Do... which requires you to beat a score you were called-out on. So if you also picked up the game for free and / or are currently playing it feel free to add me on PSN and show me what you can do. (Actually I wouldn't mind easy Call-outs first so I can get the achievement but after that feel free to go nuts.) Also feel free to discuss the game in general even if you didn't play on PS4 so this thread gets occasionally bumped and doesn't get completely buried.

I thought I had a copy of Just Cause 2 lying aroud so I can do a fitting GA for this thread but apparently I don't so Murdered: Soul Suspect will have to do.

And on that thought: Viva Medici!

And to get things started here are my thoughts on the game: It was ok but it could have been so much better if the publishers hadn't decided to turn what was apparently supposed to be a Coop / multiplayer game into a single player game just months before release and had put a little more effort into some aspects of the game. Yet I still changed my initial rating of 1 out of 5 stars (the lowest possible rating on PSN because I was annoyed by the huge leaderboards popping up all the time and the removal of some features from Just Cause 2 [no running, no dogde roll, can't throw C4 anymore]) into 3 out of 5 after finishing it. It was still a fun ride and as Mr Torgue likes to say EXPLOSIONS?!?!?!?!?!?! :D

What...? They're just having a family picture being taken, only a weird one. But, hey... no judging. :)

On PSN can you not have multiple family accounts with access to the same games? That was how I got the achievement on Steam. Used a dummy account with family sharing, set an easy target and beat it with my main account then. No friends required! Hooray, introversion is saved!

That's an interesting thought. I made a 2nd account recently anyway for the THQNordic Playstation Bundle but I never considered that option because I thought I wouldn't be able to launch the game because of lack of a licence. But maybe it lets you launch all games that are installed on the same console... I'll look into that.

Thanks legit Batman! :D

Yay :D Thanks for confirming skanda :)

As Formidolosus said introversion is saved :D Now I'd just need to 5 star every challenge in the game to get all the gears for the gear mods. And taking down a base with just my teather but that should be easy now that the story is done and I can re-opress bases.

Edit: Which probably also means I should be able to play the THQNordic games from my 2nd account on my main. I was a teeny tiny bit annoyed that I can't keep my gamerscore in one place.

Here's hoping!
Good luck with the challenges. Some of them are a bit of a pain, but there are a few little tricks you can use to make things easier, having the loochador from the DLC will help immensely with the boat races.

Thanks again for your great advice :D Since last time I managed to do Everything you can do (although that one was painfully slow because I didn't know I have to use the same weapon / car, and neither that I can track feats which resulted in calling myself out on a 24 kill Parashootin killing spree with the starter assault rifle because the leaderboard kept displaying Parashoot Climber instead and I wasn't sure if it was tracking Parashootin in the background, that I couldn't top with my main) Without Bullets and Feat Fetish. Just 6 more trophies to go but I think I'm approaching the point where they start being a lot of work.

From the remaining 6 I'll probably try to get A Real Gear-Getter (Earn at least 3 Gears in one Challenge of every type.) and MOD Specialist (Unlock every Gear MOD in a single category.) and then just keep playing Challenges until I get bored. I doubt I'll be able to get All the Gears (Earn 5 Gears in every Challenge.)

Glad it worked (eventually)! I managed to beat all the challenges, but some of them definitely took a lot of tries. I found sometimes you had to go back when you'd unlocked more of the gear mods or vehicles and try again and then it was a lot easier. If you get good with the wingsuit and grapple you can also cheese the wingsuit challenges a bit by go round in a circle and stretching the time you glide for which adds points. I'm really not an elite gamer, so if I can do it I'm sure you can too.
