U mean dungeon & dragons Neverwinter or Neverwinter Nights?
I never played Everquest but I did Dungeon and Dragons, and it's fine.
I also played Neverwinter Nights 1/2 and 1 is really old, but 2is kinda fun.
If I would recommend You any RPG/ MMO I would recommend You - Path of Exile - it's FREE on steam,
and skill tree will blow Your mind! :)

The Neverwinter MMO is free as well, so is EQ2. But of course, P2W.

Just says Neverwinter on steam. I have played Path of Exile, but just can't really get into it.

Everquest 2, everquest games have good adult communities and they make it easy to jump in and try everything without paying a dime. You start with most of the content for free except most recent expansions. Boxer friendly or if you prefer to use one character they have mercs(Ai controlled npcs to group with) that let you solo pretty easy if you don't like to group with others. Its been around for along time so there is TONS of stuff to do that would keep a person busy for awhile.

A good thing is that EQ2 free has very few limitations now, compared to the past, so you can jump in and play without feeling too limited.
