It was considered the reason for getting a vita...but i suggest you save your money for now. Play P3P first, it has a better story. Better character development too.

If you're going to get a PS Vita just for one game, then I suggest either hold off of it until a decent sale arrives or invest in PS+ membership. :3

Did you play P4 on PS2 before, since the Golden version on Vita is pretty much the same with 2 new NPCs and few more cut scenes and locations. It's not worth just for P4 only.

However, there're a couple of decent games on Vita like Uncharted or something, if you still wanna buy :)

Persona 3: Portable has to be the worst version of Persona 3.
If you want to get the full experience play Persona 3: FES for the PS2.

Not sure if this will mean anything to you, but play 3 first then 4.

The Vita can also play PS1 classics, PSP downloadables, and some PSN exclusives along with Vita games of course. It's a pretty nice console and if you count those.

Yes. This. Just knew Sony has released many PSone classics that I would love to play on a handheld. The only thing that concerns me that the R2/L2 button might be awkward for some games, and how people said that they can only play the vita for 30 minutes before their hands are cramped.

Get the PS2 version if that's really all you want for the Vita. Buying a system for just one game isn't worth it.

There's bound to be something you want later on.

Wait for the PS Vita TV and get that instead. For $100, it can play any PS Vita game that doesn't heavily use touchscreen inputs. It may not come to the US, so you'll have to import it. If it's anything like a normal Vita, then it will be region free and cane play the NA version of the game (or whatever region you are at).

I got a Vita from craigslist just for P4 Golden and Virtue's Last Reward and it was totally worth it. More games have come out (like Gravity Rush) which have piqued my interest and PS Plus let me play it and many games for very cheap so it's a pretty good deal. The only problem is the memory card prices -_-
