This is cool just as long as we get the keys. I still never got my SwipeCart key even after emailing redeem@whosgamingnow.com photographic proof that I voted. I'm not impressed with the record of whosgamingnow.com at actually giving people keys.

I have received every key I reserved.

I'm not alone in not getting keys I've reserved. Not counting threads that have been closed on the outfit's second ("temporary") Steam group, there are still plenty of threads out there full of other people who have not received keys they were promised. People who can provide proof that they are eligible to receive the keys.

Once WhosGamingNow put up an email address to supposedly help people get their keys, the outfit could at least be bothered to respond back to them. I have received no such response in over 11 days after submitting the screenshot of my Greenlight vote that was requested. All I'm seeing right now is that the site advertises more and more new "free game keys" without actually following through on the games it originally promised to give away. I'd like to stand corrected...

many of the people who requested a key were not eligible at first place, just saying

all I can say is: I got all my keys so far, so yeah

The amount of requests has been overwhelming and the majority of them are people just trying to get something they didn't even apply for (not saying that you are one of them).

The new Steam group is used only for chat and all topics has been closed on there because we want to handle everything on the new site/forum.

I would like to state for the record that I have now received my key for Swipecart, and thus can happily say that WhosGamingNow does follow through with their great key giveaways :D

Are you using GMail? It divided my inbox into some retarded categories, resulting in me missing WGN e-mails, thinking they weren't sent. But they were there all along.

I am, but that wasn't the original problem. I just got sent the key, and it went straight to my main inbox.

Hey Carl, nothing bad will happen if we Reserve a game twice on the same account, will it? I couldn't remember if I had reserved Defenders or not and did it again

Just check if you voted for it, if you did, that means you must have reserved it already.

Well thats the thing. This is the second time a game came up I SWEAR I voted for/reserved, but I go to the greenlight page and haven't voted yet.

I think the problem is on my end because my internet is slow and it takes a little while for the "Thanks for Voting" box to come up and I leave the page before the vote goes through.

Sometimes you won't be able to remember if you voted for it after finding it on Greenlight or via WGN, though; which means you might not recall if you reserved it or not.

How is the keys delivered? I might be interested in three of those, but it would be nice to control whether they get activated or not, in case one of them ends up being crap.

And thanks for sharing.

I'd agree, though I personally wouldn't feel bad for upvoting the last one. It doesn't seem that bad and looks like maybe it should be allowed to get onto steam.

you should because you're spoiling the purpose of greenlight and allow every crap to get on steam. congrats

stop liking what i dont like all the way

as much as surprising it sounds, many people might like those games, not because its free necessarily

and beside crap gets on steam regardless so once again: invalid point.

1st game - Looks neat

2nd game - Don't allow that onto steam, buy FTL:Faster Than Light

3rd game - it's okay, doesn't deserve a spot on steam.

4th game - No. Just no.

5th game - No. JUST NO.

6th game - Doesn't look bad, sure. Why not.

What, seriously? You don't think there's room for more than one space-captain exploration game ever?

It looks like it plays very different from FTL (in particular, it's an endless exploration game, rather than having the tight time-limit FTL did.)

Some of those games look decently good, especially Tiny Trek and Defenders of the Last Colony.

Actually, shit is very well capable of finding it's way onto Steam without the help of the 'vote for a free key' method.
