I have Augmented steam and the steamdb extensions installed, and I get extra info such as region locks when I try to redeem a key through the website. I think it's steamdb doing it, but not sure.
If not, I think it gives you an appid or something you can look up at least. Pretty sure asf would do the same too.

Oh, sorry. This is what I see when I try to redeem a key - https://ibb.co/ZLNCRnz - and I can click on the steamdb link which takes me to the package there. Don't have a region restricted key to try atm, sorry.

Thanks for offering your help. Have a look at reddragon's screenshot above ( https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/C4yLlYg ). If the region is wrong, Steam will tell you. If it's the right region you should get the game's name via the SteamDB extension (or via the network analysis tool of your browser), as shown in the screenshot.

Hi everybody,
I received a Steam key - supposedly for Resident Evil / biohazard HD REMASTER - that I can't seem to register in my country.
I tried to find more information about the region lock via the Steam online activation website and the Firefox network analysis tool.
Unfortunately, I did not receive a package name to confirm if it is indeed RE HD. Also, the PackageID I received (4294967295) seems to be unknown when looking for it on SteamDB.
Am I doing something wrong? Can somebody help me out regarding the region lock? If so, I will likely give away the key here on Steamgifts.

EDIT: The correct error from the website is (translated) "This product isn't available in your country. The product key was not activated."
