Thanks scripts are allowed and aren't seen as spam "because the message is related with/to the giveaway" (that were the used words from a mod after i reported such spam messages that they get at least punished for the spam [i got suspended for 1/30 of that amount of messages, that were GA related too.... i still don't see why the one is allowed and the other one wasn't]).
That the thanks script are a part of the autojoiner program, that users are able to activate or deactivate, isn't from interest for cg (and the mods?).

This handling is, at least, dumb.
But from my point of view is it active supporting the autojoining, because they kill one possible evidence for autojoining by themself. And lower the chance to caught/catch the dumbest autojoiners that activate the thanks script (they are only the iceberg tip but very easily to spot).

And yes, the auto thanks comments are annoying as fuck.
I still report the ones that are clearly autojoiners and spam the same gifter with 8 or more thanks in one go. Till now none of this tickets got handled.

The picture will be seen as calling out and will lead to a suspension (trust me i have experience with a own calling out suspension that i recieved [for lesser]).
I like to show the autojoiners etc. but i would recommend to edit or delete the picture. Your punishment will be heavyer as the one that the autojoiners recieve for the cheating (sadly no joke).

I recognized the green icon immediately... same guy also thanks lots of mine, within seconds.(Among many others doing the same thing.) 99+ notifications from 5 people

I have noticed giveaways with a don't copy paste thanks message or you will be blacklisted is quite an effective deterrent. The ones that don't comply with your request will get blacklisted and problem will be solved!

For me personally, this doesn't bother me that much but i get why it does for some people. I hope you change your mind though!

I get annoyed even just seeing the same autothank message for giveaways that aren't even mine. I can't imagine getting so many in a row.

Y'know, i'm not saying you should blacklist, but you know what to do :)

I used to "mind my manners" years ago and thank every gifter for a GA I entered.... then after the spam, auto-joiner thank-you spam, not so much.

But I still blacklist if you win a game from me and don't say thank-you.

Haven't seen that in a long time, but then again, my reasoning was to do giveaways to people that actually wanna at least attempt playing their games. Not all... but most of them. This is one of the reason I personally don't want as much to give out there because people use bots to get a game someone else would die to be able to play the game they win.

I had that problem as well. It disapeared when I stopped doing giveaways.

Lol, yeah... Sometime it really does seem like there are more than a few little clique's around SG, who like to hold their nose at the common rabble not invited to their party.

I know I've had people win my giveaways who are super active, but haven't had a non-group giveaway in years
