Orange is the new black. Boobs, lesbians, drama, fun, do you need anything else in life?
The wrong mans, it's a comedy one, BBBBUT not a sitcom, not that popular sadly, but I think it's a masterpiece.

Obscure? Well, True Detective Season 1 comes to mind.
And a little gem I discovered a few years ago, Profugos. I watched it with English subtitles.

I'm a sucker for Scandinavian suspense/crime. I can recommend Bronn/Broen aka The Bridge. And Frobrydelsen. That last one has a US remake called The Killing but if you have no problems with subtitles I must say the Scandinavian version is way better.

Winner in terms of obscure imo: Carnivale

Hannibal has a glorious over-arching plot. Seasons 1 and 2 are essential two-halves of the same book, though the first 6 eps of Season 1 are a bit of a chore.

Elementary has less of an over-arching plot, but it's got some good twists on the Sherlock Holmes lore.

Mr Robot seems (only watch the first 2 eps so far) to be very good, and has good mixture of "monster of the week" strands and over-arching plot.

The Good Wife is cheesy but well-acted, and does some interesting plot-lines which have real-world basis.

While I am not interested in any of the games I was quite positively surprised that I am on your whitelist ♡

My favorite ones are Lost, Fringe and The Walking Dead.

You don't need to like comics to watch these tv shows and they are pretty great:

I'm about to start watching Heroes, I heard it's pretty good.

Since you love Orphan Black, take a look at Dollhouse, if you haven't seen it yet. It's a bit older, but hopefully you can still find it at some video on demand service or an DVD/Bluray somewhere.
Other than that, Continuum is brilliant, final Season currently airs in Canada on ShowCase and Syfy in the US (you definitely should watch it all from the beginning though).
