No. The original is gone. You can only play it from the original CDs now.

I am gonna assume that even if I install it from the so called 'classic games' from Blizz (the one that has 30gb installer, I am gonna get the Reforged version which I won't be able to play since I have not purchased it, correct? Sorry for swamping you with questions.

Funny thing, if you had the original in your account you can play as reforged but still get banners to buy the WC3 Reforged.

The launch version was very bugged and had a lot of player disconnection when playing mp. Lots of lags with 8x8, 12x12.

I was mainly interest in replaying the campaign, heard there were some balance issues. I am gonna give it a try either way, it's a pleasant surprise that I actually can. I was on the verge of buying it couple of times already, but recently I haven't felt like supporting Activision-Blizzard. Wonder if they would actually let me buy it when I already have the 'right' to play it.

Just tried playing the first mission, gotta say that after playing AoE 2 Definitive, the graphics are unimpressive but I guess it still looks a bit more polished then the originals and the game play and story are as great as ever, so it's worth a playthrough. Shame they could not do as good a job as the other guys did with AoE, considering their asking price.One more thank you is in order, if it was not for you I wouldn't have known to try it since in battle.net it was only giving me an option to purchase the game, not to install it.

It still makes me hella mad. I google if there's a workaround for this crap almost every month, cause we used to play old WC3 maps with a friend, and now we have to play this shitty re-make instead. That's not the game I paid for back in early 2000s

The only way I think is installing from the CDs and update to the last patch before Reforged. Then use an app like Hamachi to play LAN with friends since it won't have online features anymore.

That's what we used to do, but I don't have those CDs anymore. Also I don't have a disc drive :D
Thing is, you'd need to find patches manually and install them offline, cause included auto-update tries to upgrade to reforged, at least that's what happened to me back when it came out

Yes, you have to do things manually or be forced to have Reforged. Maybe there is a backup of the old installer out there.

I think if you login to the website, the license is still shown there alongside a download link. So it was just removed from the Blizzard client.
That obviously was necessary because the games you own are not as important as the games they want to sell you (I'm really annoyed by having to see games like WoW, COD, Destiny etc in my "Blizzard Library" in the same way as my owned games. I want to hide that shit badly.

I don't actually see it in my game lincenses. There is just classic Wacraft 3 and Frozen Throne. Starcraft is gone. :/
E: Dunno if there is any difference between the free to play version and the now gone original. I would hope there is none, since they went ahead and removed it from my account.

Downloaded the lot. Annoying that you have to download downloaders for Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3. And you need a key for Diablo 2, so far.
As for missing titles, quick reminder that Diablo 1 and Warcraft 1 and 2 are on GOG. No keys or DRM there.

These aren't free, they're just the digital download versions of the CD installers for people who bought the original disc version, but can't use the CD's anymore. You still need an actual serial key to play it.

Sorry, to everybody, i got the link from another site and only downloaded it but don't tested in before posting. Shame is on me.
I was exited too, since my original Game CD's are unplayable after all the years.
Be ashured I am disapointed as you all who fell for it.
I removed the [FREE] as soon as I got on my computer today.
Again I am so sorry for this mistake.
