What if Microsoft loses this generation? Sony has a lot more to prove after the PS3 and the Vita failed to catch on with developers. Microsoft... middling along with W8 and a paid online service.

I will not be getting any next gen console on release but as a sony fan I am still excited.

It's not for the next Playstation because Sony has already said they're not releasing anything about it until Microsoft releases info about the next Xbox. Sony is paranoid that Microsoft will copy something at last minute which is doubtful but whatever makes them sleep better at night.

Also, rumor is that Sony wont be calling the next console Playstation 4 because the number 4 in Japan is considered to be unlucky. It also sounds a lot like the word death (can't really remember if it was death or something else that is bad), but yeah that's why they don't want to call it Playstation 4.

I don't think its a new VITA.. To early for that however they have to beat Microsoft this time thus they might have a new console to announce. But I'm gonna wait, until i know what it can do.
