Hi guys, it's been a while since i've last posted
i remember a while back when i wanted to trade cards there would be sites like steamtradematcher where it would compare my inventory to that of other users and match us allowing me to easily find someone to trade steam trading cards with.
it used to only match you with people that had cards you were missing within the same set so you'd find people with doubles or just wanting to get different cards
at the moment the site seems down and googling doesn't really show me alternatives, are there any sites that are widely used or used at all for ease of trade that i don't know of?

STM is working just fine. https://www.steamtradematcher.com/

If you want to trade cards between different games, there's also https://www.steamcardexchange.net/

STM is horribly broken for me. When I login, page is littered with PHP errors about "Trying to get property '...' of non-object".

Seems like some people have that problem. I just tried logging in with a different browser and didn't get any errors.

yep, same, it usually stays in the firefox error page that tells me it can't reach the server

Works fine for me with Edge and Chrome. Try a fresh browser with no extensions to see if that maybe helps.

There is no problem/error for me.

I use Firefox too, but for me it works fine. Not sure the issue is the browser, but I've no idea where the problem may be instead.

Not the browser itself, but extensions, cookies, cache etc. So trying a fresh browser without any of those could help pinpointing the problem.

Yeah, you're correct. That's what I get for just browsing through this while watching 24h of Le Mans.
Maybe being a donator to the site might also play into this.

I used even better website. I just uploaded there all cards from my inventory, got som currency for them (I think it was some jewels) and then just clicked to cards sets (ordered by price) which was sent to my inventory. I was able to collect tens of sets in a few minutes using it. I cannot find it now either. Does anyone know the website url?

Can you explain how it works?

  1. You choose cards you want to sell there
  2. You send them there and get the currency
  3. You go to a page where you will see cards sets you can use for steam leveling
  4. You buy them just by clicking
  5. You send them from the page to your steam library

Is the currencey good? Are you losing some value?

The currency is only for the site and you can also buy the currency for real money. I am not sure about the losing value. Maybe there is some but the process is so fast that I don't care about it much because it saves tens or even hundreds of hours.

Can you deposit backgrounds/emoticons or it is only for cards? sorry for the questions, I read the faq but it's badly explained

How about just going to the deposit page to see for yourself? Much easier than reading long explanations about simple things. :)

I think you cannot. But you can try it, it is not a big deal. It is possible even without registration.

You are always losing value when you use any service that's meant to provide profit for the owners. That's the price you pay for not having to spend tons of time doing it manually.

Does it still do free spins on the wheel?
I know I stopped using that site when it stopped doing that, it was my source of a free set per week. Guess I wasn't the only one if they shut it down.
