i never saw something like that on any store before. i don't skim through any of them. and you're right about bundle reservations. maybe they didn't bother me because they're way cheaper than this.
edit: btw bundle sites at least provide some hints or tell one or two games beforehand. but we know nothing about this. we're like jon snow.

they do not always give hints or tell games, and generally it doesn't matter if they do or not - they are in no way legally obliged to do so. And the point here is not how you personally feeling about it nor about it being worth it or not - it's about it being legal. And it is totally legal, as they do specifically tell you what you're paying for and it's your decision to get it or not.

i'm not claiming anything. i was just curious. and i'm not saying it legally makes a difference to give a hint or not, or sell it cheap or expensive. eu has all kind of laws and not one about these shady as bear bundles... it just doesn't make much sense to me. but frankly i don't give a damn either. it's not my money people are spending. it was just a simple question out of curiosity.

i don't play tf2 so they look solely... well, "box" to me when i rarely see them on market or in peoples' inventories or whatever. it didn't even came up to my mind until you mentioned it now. i don't like to express my thoughts about stuff i'm not familiar with because i usually turn out to be wrong but maybe this system is wrong. at least have a value to debate on. but like i mentioned before i don't give a damn what people are spending their money for. i was just curious about whether or not there is a law about this obscure and shady selling tactics. apparently there is none. that's all i wanted to know. .-.
i didn't buy that key. traded it with a game i had because it's practically the currency on trade market. i have no intention to get some hats for a game i don't play. so it's hardly the same.

Is this EU only? I can't get an NA website by removing the eu., and I'm only finding EU search results.

maybe, but Square does restrict some of its games to some form of region lock... and you need a payment witgh a billing address in the EU, NZD or AU.

Australia applies as one of the "Serviced Countries"... lucky them, no love for americans (as in the continent)

It's about time Europe got something nice from them after all the non releases we have had over the decades.

What's in the box? It could be anything! Perhaps even a box?

Like the guy who bought a xbox one box instead of a xbox one at ebay for 350 bucks?

Since last year's system requirements where copied from Tomb Raider and this year's are the same as Murdered: Soul Suspect... So, maybe Murdered?

So judging by the specs page any guesses what it is going to contain?

$7.50 USD for a single game you like isn't that bad, and I think it's fun to get 6 surprise games for that price! After all the whining of last year I bet they are throwing in a Final Fantasy game this year

It's over 8. And I said may get. You may get games you already have or you don't want. Considering that their games have been on hugh sales or bundles except the FF which probably won't be on the box, it doesn't make the bundle so tempting.
If I'm not wrong last year you could get on black friday or winter sales all the games of the box for nearly the same price, so if you weren't interested on all them you could get the games you wanted separately and cheaper.

I'm confused: the content will be revealed after the last day of the promotion or after the promo ends?

Well they are Square Enix games so suppose you are right.

I doubt there will be a final fantasy game in it which is unfortunate

I'd probably buy it if i didn't buy it last year and i own Sleeping Dogs so i'm guessing i'd own at least 3/4 games. They might add the newer Hitman, but besides that and Final Fantasy there really isn't anything i'd like them to add.
Fingers crossed for you that bought it!
Edit: I just searched Square Enix games and some are really cool, but i don't think they'll add any oldies because it sounds better if they add a new crappy game then adding a old excellent game. Also would be nice if they added Deus Ex unless its the Fail in which case they are giving you the finger

It's most likely going to be something like Tomb Raider, maybe an old FF game and a few bundle games. Not a bad deal, but I really only like the FF games from SE.

It'll be "Flora's Fruit Farm"
