This a Steam game topic.

No more bullshit from the bastards who are doing one hell of a mockery .

Hats off & all the respect to big game devs like Larian Studios who are still indie ( no Sell-Your-Soul-To-Satan - Publishers trololo ) xD ..and i hope the indie game devs that started more recently wont forsake themselves as gamers become corporate fucks, like EA ,Atari,ACtivision, Microsoft,Blizzard etc...they know who they are ..
Read all my post on the last page and let me know what you think.
Also we should contact the international lawyers council that fight for us gamers :)

Jeez, you wrote a book in that thread...

Anyways, yeh GFWL and most other DRM are pretty bad. Nothing new, we've been complaining about them for a while. At least no new games are going GFWL, so we'll be dealing with it less and less as time goes on :/

Hopefully uPlay is next!

Uplay is new, it is the extension of the nonsense that ruined From Dust. It is not going anywhere.

Unless Ubisoft gets lazy and just contracts Steam to take care of it's distribution and Steamworks for it's DRM needs.

Could happen, Namco has been stripping GFWL out of some games and replacing it with Steamworks so who knows!

Ubisoft ain't going bankrupt anytime soon as long as gamers keep rocketing every one of their new games to the top of the Best Sellers list haha!

Yeah, I have no issues with Steam or Origin, but uPlay, geez... It even has been keeping customers from playing Watch_Dogs recently without doing some tricks with the online/offline mode, to prevent piracy.

They need to understand that these ridiculously-extrict DRM measures do not harm the pirate, but the actual buyer. And the only way to make them understand is through legal or monetary action (not spending one cent. on those bigots).

And do not get me started on Eidos and the mess they made with Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut!

You heard him folks, gather up your pitchforks and rage! Oh brother. >> Was there ever such a thing as an international gaming whatever lawyer group? It sounds like a good plot for a game. ;) Help gamers win back their rights from evil big gaming corporations!
