what's your GOTY ?

I own Horizon Zero Dawn but haven't played it.

If you mean in general also since I haven't played any of those... Hellblade was my GOTY this year by far.

It's a bit odd that 4 of your choices are console exclusives on a site devoted to giving away games on Steam ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Though, I do really want to play all of them 😉 (Stupid console exclusivity *grumble*, *grumble* )

The only one I can play is that one with the stupid name that I couldn't be less interested in... 😜

That 'vote' can be summed up as "Who needs choice if you have console exclusives?"

None of the games really stand out to me this year, than they did last year or the year before that.

For me, Night in the Woods is the best game of 2017. There are many other great games that got released this year obviously, but I don't like any of the ones you mentioned, so I voted for the dots. xD

Been playing Breath of the wild and it's a blast. Recommended to anyone who enjoy open world games.

Do we really need a GOTY every year ? Maybe we should say that it was a shitty year for games, and try better for 2018 ? =))
Past 3 years most great games came out of indi scene... (the only exception a can remember is The Witcher)
99% AAA games have the common symptoms,
1) optimizations
2) microtransactions
3) content segmentation
probably more, but i dont whant to think about bad things right now...

And if something is sick, you either cure it, or kill it with fire, (thats what Games taught me =)) )

Haven't played any of them. But I am glad they finally added a jump button to the newest Zelda, which all by itself makes it more interesting to me then every previous 3D Zelda.

Haven't even heard of 4 of these games.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild for me, still playing it...and I haven't even touched Master Mode yet.
