Hmm, but in the anime they're not all romantically interested in Tomoya (other than Nagisa later on), so it wouldn't count as harem.

I'd say the 1st season would count as a harem since all the main girls are interested in Tomoya....save for Fuko and maybe Kotomi, but yeah, definitely not the 2nd season.

I recommend Ouran High School Host Club. It's not what you're asking for, but it is a well-done play on the harem genre and you might enjoy it.

Alright, worked on a quick list of three anime which might interest you. Not all of them are exactly harem, but they do involve the main character (a boy) being surrounded by girls.
Harem isn't exactly my kind of stuff so I'm not sure I'm recommending the right stuff, but anyways.

Sword Art Online - Plot twist: Instead of gamer guys being all over gamer girls, at one point all the ladies want Kirito. Go figure.

Little Busters! / Little Busters!: Refrain - Based on a visual novel after the same name, you know you can expect something similar to a harem. However, this anime is actually pretty good, so I really recommend it.

Clannad / Clannad: After Story - Again, based on a visual novel. Also by Key's, the same studio which created Little Busters!. Basically pretty similar, and just as good. Again, not really harem, but you know where I'm going with this list...
And that's all I can think of. I know a few about "love triangles" - two girls (secretly or otherwise) wanting the attention of the same boy (notice me senpai) - but I doubt this would interest you.

This is the type of anime that interests me more than others.
Theres 1 main guy, and a bunch of girls who are after him, in terms of love.
