Was there The Division Season pass ever free , will it ever be ?

Season Passes are a big money earner for game companies. I doubt anyone will give it away free. More likely they'll give the original Division (which I just saw they did) and try to get buyers addicted to loot boxes or passes or whatever Repeat User Engagement Solution they use.

Incidentally this is not a deal, it's a deal wish, so will be moved somewhere more appropriate once someone with the power to do so sees it.

Don't kid yourself. AAA games only go free so that people buy enormously expensive DLC and season passes that rarely even get discounted.
So no these never go free. You're lucky if they get on sale once a year at 50% off.

Season passes never free, it usually having big discounts every Ubi sale, but that's all you can expect really.

Yes, it's always free... for Uplay+ users

The first one was free, technically.

Once you connect your Uplay account with Epic you can "acquire" The Division on the Uplay launcher and then just buy DLC off Ubisoft's store. You can even locate the game through Uplay so you don't have to re-download it.

The pass was discounted on Uplay the week division was free; I used 100 of my Ucoins to get an extra 20% off, got it for $6.50. During Ubisoft Forward I saw it for 5 dollars pre-discount code, so you just gotta be patient for the next sale.
