Not really interested at all. I've seen 4 - 6 many years ago, and 1 as well. I also played a couple of games.

I haven't been this excited since seeing A New Hope (before it was even called that LOL) in theaters in 1977 (yes, I'm that old), then begging my dad to turn around and go right back in so we could see it again!

I don't even know how many times I've seen all the films since then, but I'm hoping The Force Awakens inspires that same feeling I had when I was a kid and makes me want to see it 100 more times, haha.

I may not be as old... but I'm close. Star Wars opened when I was one. The first movie I ever saw was Return of The Jedi, and I've been in love since... I'm even willing to forgive them for Jar Jar (provided there is an Easter Egg somewhere that shows him getting double fisted or bludgeoned). I'm excited for the new films, but apprehensive due to Phantom Menace... it was akin to the infamous Christmas Special.

Nah. Gonna wait for it on torrentz. Like I did with the rest of them. Not being a rabid fan of the series means I get to keep my monyz.

Pre-ordering tickets for a movie, is that a thing?
I'll go watch it 1 or 2 weeks after release, or at a midnight showing. I don't like the cinema when it's crowded.

It is for the first showings of really big movies like this, but its not a very common occurrence. The bigger the movie, the more likely pre-ordering for first day shows will be a thing. I live just outside NYC, and it will be mental for the first showings, but I refuse to deal with that nonsense. Unless you are dying to see it the night of release/first day, theres no need to pre-order.

I'm going to wait a few days and go on like Tuesday at noon. There's literally theatres that will be open 24 hours here showing it.

I'd probably have a stress crisis if I lived in NYC, I really dislike crowds.

You'd get used to it and learn to avoid certain places. Its got its perks living around here.

I can pre-order tickets for almost any upcoming film where I live, usually a month or two in advance. My local theater is pre-selling tickets for 16 upcoming films right now ...

I'm guessing you live in a big city, that's not my case. Heck, we only have one cinema right now, all the old ones went broke during the 2000's when the DVD became common(kinda sad).

I guess it's a good-sized city -- about half a million people. AMC bought out the three theaters in the area and jacked up prices ($13/ticket, $8 popcorn, etc) to compensate for ticket loss from DVD/.streaming services. Usually costs me around $50-$60 to see a movie with the wife. -_-

haven't seen it in my country before until just now for this movie. Ppl are crazy-hyped about it. In my hometown all tickets are already sold out until 2016, luckily in city I currently live in we have more cinemas so I was able to reserve a spot at the premiere for me and my firends ;p

Is that movie coming out soon? I didn't even realize.

I barely watch movies, and nothing that I've seen so far makes it seem spectacular, so I'm probably gonna miss it in theaters.

i've just seen the whole collection for the first time to prepare myself for the upcoming movie and now i have no intentions of watching it
The old movies are good but...this franchise is on life support, i think J.J. Abrams will do a better job at directing then Lucas, still enough is enough

After Abrams ruined Gene Roddenberry's vision, I don't have very high hopes. Still, I will go see it eventually.

Not yet, one of my friends who I watch most movies with is working in another country for the next years, I don't know if he's home when it's being released.....also I don't know if I wanna watch it in my mother-language, because I prefer english movies.

Watched some of the movies years ago, never really liked it (though I generally like sci-fi).
The only thing I love about SW is the KOTOR games =)
