Make giveaways for games that have NOT been given for free and you will gain levels.

If you go to your profile and hover the mouse over gifts sent, the games you have given away are all no value games(free) so you no longer have level 1 anymore.

The process is done manually so can take time and is done retrospectively sometimes. If you get a key for free somewhere it is a good chance you will eventually get 0CV for it

It will give you contribution value for now as its a non bundled game at the moment.
This is a good example of a game being given free and therefore you will get no contribution value in the long run once SG updates it to being a free game.

Нет, неправда. Если раздача завершилась хотя бы за день до массовой раздачи, то баллы (CV) не отнимут. Я раздавал Shadowrun Returns до массовой раздачи, баллы сохранились.
Однако SteamGifts публикует свои "звёздочки" с некоторым опозданием. То есть, ситуация, когда создающий раздачу не видел "звёздочек" и даже получил за неё баллы, но потом задним числом их обнулили - возможна. Многие на это попадаются.

This is correct. When a game is added to the 'free' listing, it includes an "as of" field, so anything before the mass giveaway began is unaffected.
As far as when we get to it, well, we get to it when we get to it. It is a manual effort, and not all support staff even has the ability to update this information. With a big (but improving) queue of higher level tickets still out there, and given this is all done in someone's free time, unfortunately some things get missed for a while.
