Hello everybody

With family and job I don't get to play tons of big 100 hours AAA-titles anymore. So I got much pickier about which big games to play. But also I enjoy little games much more, meaning games that I can play in between or that I can beat within 2 or 3 evenings. That's why I decided to start a curator page for just these kind of games. If you're interested, feel free to take a look (or even follow me) here.

Of course this kind of advertisement would be dull (maybe it is even so ;) ) if I wouldn't have some GAs for you, so here you go with a little train of bundled games:
This way to the train
(Disclaimer: These games don't correspond with the games of my curator page.)

And as a bonus I have a copy of Figment
Bedtime Digital Games (the creators of the game) provided me with a key I can give away, so others can enjoy the game as well. So I gladly give it away here to someone of you. All you have to do is answer three little + easy questions about my review of the game. Here is your link to the question:
This way to the Figment-GA

If you have recommendations for other games I should have an eye on and maybe (when I have the time) could test, I always enjoy those. Or things that make me laugh of course. :)

PS: Being a gamer with little time means also to be a SG-User with little time, so please forgive me, if I may not be so fast with responding to your comments.

In Between ...

It's a puzzle/platform game (I do not know how to describe it). In any case I loved it and is kind enough to let you skip the last three screens of each chapter and advance in the plot ... Undoubtedly you lose things if you do, but the last three screens of each level tend to be more difficult.

As a point against (and also in favor) there are no checkpoints. Either you finish the screen or you start from the beginning. I'm sure it's what you're looking for, because when you die you'll turn off the computer and you will not play if you only have two minutes or so ... it's not worth it.

There is a sort of intermediate control point on some screens. Do not make the mistake of believing that you have recorded the game, as you leave next time you will see how you should start from the beginning.

I loved it and a lot but do not listen to me and watch some gameplay. Maybe the theme can not be your taste either ... In any case, think about it.
(I have yet to meet the screens that I missed, mostly out of pure pride)

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. This sounds very interesting indeed. I even own it already, but didn't had it on my list of games under 5 hours. But HLTB also says it's only 3-5 hours so I have put it on the list immediately and I'll probably try this one out at some point.

A bump! Here are some good games I played recently which are not too long (1-3 sessions), so I felt they valued my time with them:

-- Papo and Yo
-- Her Story
-- Botanicula (wait, you have curated this already, I guess)
-- To the Moon (ditto)
-- Contrast
-- Distraint
-- The Swapper

Thanks for your suggestions. Especially for "Papo & Yo", which I skipped as not "interested" once, but now I've put it on my wishlist. Same goes for Contrast. The Swapper and Her Story I already own, but just never got to try them out yet. I'll definitely will at one point though. Especially "The Swapper" is a "must play at one point" game for me (although I have a bunch of those, like most of us). Distraint I own as well, but I think a got that one for free at one point, so I didn't realise, that this could be a game perfectly fitting for me. Thanks for bringing that one to my attention as well!

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I didn't knew about those or didn't have them in sight (Out There I own, but it just sits somewhere in all those games of my library).
